The Helm of Domination was crafted by the Nathrezim to both hold the spirit of Ner'zhul and give him his Lich King power. The helm, which helps command the undead and others, as well as the Plate of the Damned, which makes the wearer nearly invulnerable, were bound to Ner'zhul's spirit and sealed in the Frozen Throne. The runeblade Frostmourne was also sealed in the Frozen Throne, but Ner'zhul cast it from the throne so it would eventually find its way to Arthas.
