The issue most people have with a utility knife is weakness. Weak locking mechanisms, thin brittle blades, and an inability to do hard work. Cold Steel has addressed this problem and created a utility knife that’s all about strength. And, it’s affordably priced! The Click-N-Cut, (patent pending) features elements that are based on our extremely strong, Tri-Ad® lock, so it’s built for strenuous cutting chores. It comes complete with three interchangeable blades. There is a drop point blade and serrated and plain edged versions of our utility blade. The blades are double the thickness of most blades on the market, so they can stand up to the most strenuous cutting, scoring, scraping and gouging tasks you can imagine. Exchanging a blade is easy. Our good friend, Tim Wells of Relentless Pursuit TV show fame was so impressed with our Click-N-Cut we said why don’t we make a Slock Master model so we did. It has Tim Wells’ signature red handle and his distinctive logo, and comes with three blades. Colichemarde Sword

The new Colichemarde Sword from Cold Steel with an overall length of approx. 101.6 cm. This sword is made from 1055 Carbon steel. A leather scabbard with steel fittings is within the scope of supply. The Colichemarde emerged on the sword scene in the late 1600's during the decline of the Rapier and the rise of the small sword. The Rapier, with its long, elegantly thin profile, which emphasized its point, became the popular choice in civilian self-defense. Indian Ball Club

No one knows when the ball headed war club first appeared. It was in common use in the early 16th century and was popular with the war-like tribes of the American eastern seaboard, eventually spreading to the Great Lakes region and northern Canada all the way to the Great Plains west of the Mississippi. It has been speculated that the wide adoption of this weapon was because it was relatively easy to manufacture, in that it required little or no metal, and because it was unspeakably effective. The better clubs were carved from a naturally curved hardwood root burl, sapling or tree branch. This insured that the wood grain would curve in parallel lines though the handle and into the ball itself, avoiding the pitfalls of cross grain which could weaken the club and cause it to break at an ill-timed moment. Hornbeam (Iron Wood), a hard dense timber that was strong and was resistant to impact forces, was the most preferred material, even over such stalwart choices as Ash, Maple, Oak and Hickory. In battle, a dedicated blow from the ball of the club could easily break a limb or crush a skull like a bat going through a watermelon. For added dynamism, and increased effectiveness, the ball was sometimes spiked with an antler, bone, knapped stone, or even iron. Cold Steel president, Lynn C. Thompson, is an admirer of the ball headed club (especially after watching "Last of the Mohicans" about a dozen times) and when he saw an example made by custom blade smith Rich McDonald, he jumped at the chance to work with Rich to reproduce it. Our version is approximately 2 ft. long and features a 3 1/4" in diameter ball. It is fitted with a removable blunt, short steel spike. Hornbeam is scarce and not readily available in commercial quantities, so our club is injection molded out of black Polypropylene which is practically unbreakable. As a nod to the great success of the Pendleton Lite Hunter, Cold Steel has decided to make more economical versions of their popular Tanto and Outdoorsman knives. Small Sword

The advantage of the sword point over the edge became increasingly evident by the end of the 16th century. The Rapier, with its long, elegantly thin profile, which emphasized its point, became the popular choice in civilian self-defense. It was however, a somewhat unwieldy weapon especially when it was used in narrow, crowded streets and alleyways. Eventually a more sophisticated, shorter and lighter version emerged that by the end of the 17th century had evolved into an entirely new weapon, the Small Sword. Civilians carried it for as long as swords remained an integral part of fashionable dress. Its primary advantage was its stiff, lightweight blade which was forged in a triangular cross section. Gim Sword

There are two basic types of straight bladed swords used in China. One is fairly long and heavy known as the Wu Jian or "Martial Sword". The other is substantially lighter and called a Wen Jian or "Scholar´s Sword" and was primarily carried for personal self defense. After studying books and video tapes on the history and use of both weapons, we have decided to make our own battle worthy Gim (Wu Jian) for serious collectors and practitioners of Chinese Martial Arts. The blade of our Wu Jian is made out of 1055 Spring Steel and measures 76.2 cm long by 3.18 cm wide. For cutting and slashing, both edges are quite sharp and they terminate in a strong, useful point for stabbing. MAA American Spontoon

The spontoon is basically a scaled down polearm or winged spear that often served as a substitute for a rifle or musket in colonial America. Issued in substantial quantity by both sides of every conflict from the French and Indian war (1754-1763) to the War of 1812 it was carried as both a weapon and a badge of rank or authority by commissioned and noncommissioned officers alike. Our president Lynn C. Thompson became fascinated by the spontoon after reading Tim Willocks’ novel the Twelve Children of Paris (3 times!) so we decided to make our own model based on historical examples. Axe Gang Hatchet Trainer

The best of the world's sword fighters have known a simple truth for ages... if you want to become a reasonably good sword fighter you should endeavour to learn sword fighting techniques, footwork and the basic stances. However, if you want to be a master at sword fighting you have to eventually start fighting with a "live blade". If your ultimate goal is to wield a razor sharp sword safely and effectively, you need to train with a sword that approximates the size, feel and heft of a live blade, yet minimizes the possibility of causing grievous, permanent, or life-threatening injury to yourself or your training partner. This concept was implemented by the ancient Romans, who used dull wooden swords to train their Gladiators and soldiers. And Japanese Samurai used a wooden training sword that was called a Bokken. It is an elegant solution to a vexing problem and effective enough to still be used today. The only problem is that a wooden sword can rot, crack, chip or splinter and eventually become useless.
