Damast Annual Knife 2023
For this year's Damascus Annual Knife work for the first time with Ricardo Romano Bernandes. Carlo, whose family originally comes from Sicily, was born in Brazil, has been a knifemaker since 1990, and his craft is part of a tradition of knife making and sharpening that has been established for several generations. His design is based on the traditional Pen Knives and inspired us right away with its casual freshness. For the modern interpretation of a traditional knife form, the powder-metallurgical damascus of the Swedish company Damasteel® seemed to us to be an appropriate blade material. The production of Damasteel® requires - even if the most modern technical means are used - just as much skill and experience as the hand-forging of steel. The purity and properties of Damasteel steel can be optimized to the extreme with complex combined processes. The self-supporting construction of laminated blue and gray G10 contrasts beautifully with the chosen "Odin Eye" pattern of Damasteel®. The simple yet all-time functional slip joint is a mandatory part of this type of knife. The size, weight, indestructible G10 scales and stainless Damasteel® make this collector's knife an excellent EDC at the same time. Delivered in a suspended display with certificate of authenticity and serial number. Strictly limited to 999 copies worldwide. Trapper Castle Burg
Castle Burg is a landmark of the Bergisches Land, rising above the river Wupper near the Boker Manufactory. Count Adolf II. von Berg had the castle constructed on the foundations of a 10th-century fortress. It was finished in 1133. Today, it is one of the biggest castles in western Germany, inseparably connected to the Duchy of Berg and the Counts von Berg (1068-1225). Even today, Burg Castle still reflects the enormous wealth of the dynasty and their far-reaching influence in Northrhine-Westphalia. Count Engelbert II. von Berg was also the Archbishop of Cologne. We keep in touch with the historians of Burg Castle because the corporate history of Boker can be traced back to 1674, when the tree was first entered as the company's trade symbol for tools, and because our history is closely connected to that of the Bergisches Land. Right now, large parts of the castle are being faithfully restored. This includes the replacement of ancient solid oak planks. This inspired us to preserve the historic material for future generations, skillfully turning it into handle scales in our Manufactory. This was the foundation of our knife series Boker Schloss Burg, comprising seven traditional knife styles steeped in history. Apart from the scales of historic oak wood sourced from Burg Castle (Schloss Burg), the knives also feature brass liners and blades made from O1 carbon steel. Highlighting the authenticity of the knives, the blades are finished with a special acid wash, which also protects them from harmful environmental impact. All styles are handcrafted by Boker Manufactory Solingen as a strictly limited edition of 1133 pieces worldwide. They come with a new version of the historic Boker tree symbol. The classic Boker Trapper derives its name from the American outdoorsmen who roamed the North American prairie as hunters and trappers. They were among the most important discoverers and scouts for the European settlers, often being the first to make contact with indigenous peoples. Its slender build makes this traditional knife a perfect everyday companion. Boker makes it possible and presents the Boker Plus Micro USB OTF, an OTF automatic knife (Out The Front) with a 41 mm long utility blade that is legally compliant in Germany and can even be carried freely. Böker Plus Tactical Pen CID cal .45 New Gen, Aluminum Grey
With this Pen Boker presents a newly developed Tactical Pen that sets new standards in design and technology. Rainer Wenning, who has developed the Boker Pocket Sticks SO4PRO-K, and knife maker Thomas Braunagel (BFK) have conceived it. Revolutionary is the use of a bayonet mechanism. Purely functional, the bayonet mechanism significantly increases the ease of use, because for writing not a cap must be unscrewed nor write mine are unscrewed. Just as fast as the classic push-button the bayonet mechanism can be operated and ensures a secure surface grip for the use as defense pen because the thumb can rest securely on the head pin. In almost the same manner the satisfaction of the male play instinct is guaranteed thanks to the activity with the bayonet mechanism. The annoying clicking of nervous users of plastic pens you can now oppose the rich sound of the completely made of metal bayonet. A further specification is the sensational clip-Integrated Design (CID). It offers the advantage of easy placement in a pocket without the need for a protruding clip that might be uncomfortable with a fixed press access in the palm. The minimal spring clip is dimensioned so that he offers a comfortable tensile strength on the seam of a normal jeans pocket or pants. The new version with reworked mechanism is now compatible with the Lamy-Mine M-22, which can easily be procured in every stationery business. Bronco
When designing our new fixed outdoor knife Boker BRONCO, we set ourselves ambitious goals. It should be at the state-of-the-art of technical possibilities and offer optimal functionality with regard to modern needs. For this purpose, it should have the following characteristics:- Universal and optimal usability for all professional outdoor users such as bushcrafters, campcrafters, survivalists, cross-country hikers, hunters, SAR teams and others. - A blade made of CPM steel at the highest level of metallurgical possibilities - A handle that fits comfortably in the hand even when working for long periods of time, completely encloses the tang throughout and does not dissipate heat from the hand when cold - A high quality leather sheath that can be worn with or without a dangler, protects the knife from loss and damage, has a socket for a firestarter and is fitted with one - 100% manufacturing in Solingen/Germany - A moderate price with regard to the equipmentWe were able to meet these ambitious requirements in the following way: The CPM-3V was developed by Crucible Industries LLC - the specialist and worldwide market leader in powder metallurgical steels - to provide unprecedented shock-load tolerance, breakage elasticity and splinter resistance with a phenomenal edge retention and hardness of 62-63 HRC. These properties of the powder-metallurgical carbon steel were achieved, among other things, by a precisely adjusted chromium content of 7.5%. In this way, the positive properties of the alloying element Cr, such as the increase in wear resistance and hardenability, could be utilised while maintaining a fine microstructure. The universal wide drop-point blade with a high-set saber grind has always been the hunter's preferred shape for both big and small game and is also suitable for both fine tasks such as stick feathering and for the more coarse, such as the obligatory batoning. The tang is continuous and protrudes a few millimetres from the end of the handle. This ensures maximum stability and the tang can also withstand powerful blows with a log or other object. A short part of the back of the blade forms sharp 90° edges on both sides for striking sparks from the included firestarter. TPE - thermoplastic elastomer - was chosen as the handle material, which completely encloses the tang and has a structure that provides a good grip in any loading direction. TPE is resistant, elastic, non-slip and has low heat conductivity. The knife therefore lies securely in the hand in all weather and working conditions and does not drain the strength from the fingers in wet and cold conditions. Compared to conventional elastomers, TPE also has the advantage of reducing the burden on the environment during production, as this is carried out purely physically and the lengthy and energy-consuming vulcanisation of chemically cross-linked elastomers is not necessary. The knife is equipped with a quiver leather sheath - the supreme discipline in sheath construction - with a deep and firm fit of the knife. The knife is thus protected in the best possible way against both loss and damage when carried, without requiring a damage-prone lock that makes quick access difficult. A removable dangler allows for either a high carrying position on the belt or a low position under the hip belt of the touring backpack. In addition, the knife is equipped with a 9.3 cm firestarter / metal match from the market leader Light My Fire, which finds a place in a wide, tight-fitting leather loop firmly integrated into the piping. This makes the Boker BRONCO a compact, versatile and complete wilderness and survival tool that is up to any situation. Details: Overall length: 23,0 cm Blade length: 11,3 cm Weight: 147 g Blade thickness: 3,4 mm Blade material: CPM-3V Handle material: TPE

Employing cutting-edge production methods, a wafer-thin layer of colorful abalone is applied to a carrier and encased in transparent acrylic. The resulting durable material is perfect for making straight razor handles, enriching the piece with unusual colors and a three-dimensional look. The 6/8" blade of this exceptional singing straight razor has an extremely hollow grind with serration on both sides. MG-42 Damast Dagger
With the classically elegant Boker MG-42 Damascus Dagger, the crown of historical Boker Damascus steel projects is provided with yet another jewel. The MG-42 is one of the internationally renowned milestones in weapons technology, thanks above all to its revolutionary production technology at the time with the consistent use of stamped sheet metal parts, exceptional reliability and ease of use, and a cadence that was previously unknown.Raw materials and production time had increasingly become critical and decisive factors in the course of the war. Therefore, the Army Ordnance Office was looking for a successor to the MG-34, which was already convincing in its function, but took up too much time and material due to its complex production. The new MG was also to serve as a standardised weapon for light, anti-aircraft, airborne and aperture purposes. Since the central task was not to improve the product but to optimise the manufacturing process, a proven specialist in mass production rather than a weapons expert was commissioned with the new design. The choice fell on Werner Gruner, a mechanical engineer at the Johannes Großfuß metal and lacquerware factory. Gruner was presumably assisted in the development by experienced gun designers. The consistent use of sheet metal stampings instead of milled parts and the omission of accurateness in non-functional details made it possible to build a weapon that was even more reliable than its predecessor, while significantly reducing production time and costs. Almost trouble-free function and firing accuracy in all weather conditions, the change of hot-shot barrels within seconds and a cadence of 1,500 rounds per minute (25 rounds/second) established the MG-42's reputation. A brake in the form of additional mass in the breech cavity made it possible to reduce the immense cadence to 700 rounds/minute and thus the ammunition consumption. A roller shutter controlled by a cam made these impressive technical characteristics possible. In a slightly modified form, the MG-42 is still the standard MG of the German armed forces today as MG 3. Rare originals from the Second World War fetch between USD 40,000 and USD 60,000 at Rock Island Auctions. The steel of the MG-42 is forged by our long-time and experienced partner Chad Nicols into the heart of the dagger, the double-edged blade with a discreet hollow groove on both sides. The chosen Damascus pattern, Low Layer Raindrop (40 layers) is excellently accentuated by the symmetrical profile of the blade. The dagger's toggle and pommel are made of solid stainless steel. In the pommel, the cooling fins and gas outlets of the recoil amplifier (actually a combined component with the functions of a recoil amplifier, a flash hider and a barrel guide sleeve) were incorporated as a design element. Nevertheless, form followed function here as well, for the grooves increase the grip of the dagger in the reverse grip. The toggle and pommel joinlessly hold the barrel-shaped roll of polished desert ironwood, which is automatically centred in the hand by its shape. The dagger is equipped with a high-quality sheath made of dark brown leather with a belt loop and place reinforcement. Supplied with a classy frame case for seemingly floating presentation, certificate of authenticity and individual serial number. Micro USB OTF Tanto
An OTF knife, compact and dynamic - sounds too good to be legal? Boker makes it possible and presents with the Boker Plus Micro USB OTF an OTF automatic knife (Out of The Front) with a 41 mm long utility blade that complies with German law. This is made possible by the classification of the BKA (file number SO13-2022-36166803; more at www.boker.de), under which the knife is not considered a weapon according to §1 para. 2b due to its small blade dimensions. According to the BKA's classification, the Boker Plus Micro USB OTF is covered by $42a of the WaffG and is thus subject to the usual carry restriction on one-handed knives. As a handy automatic knife, the little genius quotes the characteristic design of common USB sticks and relies on bite instead of bytes: cardboard boxes, packaging or ropes are effortlessly cut through by the cutting blade made of D2. The switchblade knife has a slide on the front of the handle that allows the blade to come out of the handle with an energetic click and then discreetly disappear again when pressed again. Thanks to this practical one-handed operation, small everyday cutting tasks are completed in almost no time at all. Thanks to the lanyard hole, the knife can also be carried ideally on a key ring. Visually, the elegant satin finish of the tanto blade harmonises perfectly with the black handle made of CNC-milled 6061-T6 aluminium and the grainy tip-down (r) clip. Scout Stag
The Boker Scout has been firmly connected to our name since 1985. No one can say today if anyone would have expected that the Pocketknife would be one of the most successful and popular Knifes from our range. But these many years in short-lived fads, that are also not unusual on the knife market, is definitely special. While no other model has had as many versions as the Scout over the years, the basic specifications never changed. The extremely stable body is from a single piece nickel silver which is produced by sintering. 1969 Z28-Damast
Legends are not born; they are shaped by time until their moment to shape time has come. They don't live a myth, they create it and leave behind a venerable legacy. In 1966, the foundation stone for another icon was laid in Detroit, Michigan. In the epicentre of the US automotive industry, numerous vehicles see the light of day. Many of them are ordinary cars, while others are exclusively chosen. The Chevrolet Camaro was originally designed as a so-called Pony Car, which was intended to appeal primarily to younger buyer groups. Compact, sporty and affordable - the coupé was the stalwart for the semi-strong. Success was not long in coming. From 1966 to 1969, approximately 700,000 Camaro models with 12 different engine variants rolled off the production line. In 1969, the last Camaro of the first generation, the Z28, was introduced. Connoisseurs consider this model to be one of the best of all series. A massive V8 small block engine with 216 kW (290 hp) and a Special Performance Package propelled the Camaro Z28 into the select league of muscle cars, sporty stripes on the body included. The motorsport DNA of the now coveted collector's item cannot be denied either. The engine used is a toned-down version of the successful and highly decorated Penske Camaro from the SCAA Trans AM racing series. Boker quotes the design of the Camaro Z28 and revives the legend. The result is more than just a knife. An attitude to life, the dignified road trip with the bubbling sound of the V8 engine on the seemingly endless highway, gentle rays of sunlight streaking across the canyon and warming the soul. Unforgettable moments without everyday life - just like the extraordinary Boker 1969 Z28-Damascus. In collaboration with the Italian designer Tommaso Rumici, a unique "muscle knife" was created that combines the distinctive character traits of the Camaro Z28 in form and strength. The elegant Damascus drop-point blade, hand-forged by Chad Nichols with 80 layers in the “Tread” pattern, reminisces of the sloping cowl induction bonnet of the muscle car. For this purpose, parts of the upper A-arm from the Camaro were used for the blade, that opens smoothly with the blue anodised thumb stud, while the biting stainless steel linerlock reliably locks the knife in place. The aluminium handle in "Le Mans Blue" interprets the lines of the body in a nostalgic way and comes up with exciting details. The notchback, the small rear spoiler and the gill-like air intakes on the rear wings have been beautifully integrated into the knife. The blade axle screw is lovingly inspired by the rims often used on muscle cars, whereas the straight-lined stainless steel clip, milled from the solid, is reminiscent of the chrome-plated door handles. Delivery includes a high-quality floating display, plenty of torque and a gentle breeze in your hair. Handmade in the Boker Manufactory in Solingen. V-42 Devil's Brigade 2.1
The Devil's Brigade was formed in July 1942. Under the official name of 1st Special Service Force, American and Canadian soldiers were brought together to form a special unit that was specially trained to fight behind enemy lines. The roots of many special units after the Second World War can be traced back to this unit. The many night operations, for which all faces were blackened for camouflage, probably for the first time, earned them the nickname Black Devils in the German Armed Forces, which testifies to the great respect the enemy had for this relatively small unit. The 1st SSF carried out many successful missions in Italy and France between 1943 and 1944 and was able to have a decisive influence on important situations in the course of the war. An important piece of equipment for the Devil's Brigade was the specially designed V-42 combat knife, which was also part of the intensive close combat training. The handle made of pressed leather discs ends in a tapered striking piece. A thin leather padding under the slightly curved parrying element was intended to prevent injuries when thrusting. The coated blade made of non-stainless 1095 carbon steel is sharpened on both sides and has a grooved thumb ramp in the ricasso area. This legendary dagger is still adorned with the emblem of the Special Forces of the US Army. We supply this select collector's item not only with the classic, deep-fitting leather sheath, but also with a replica of the unit's textile insignia, the red spearhead, as well as a reproduction of the original German language sticker with the text "Das dicke Ende kommt noch!" (The big end is yet to come!) together with the 1st SSF insignia, which was stuck on walls, cars, walls, doors, etc. behind enemy lines at night to demoralise them. A military-historical ensemble worth collecting. Overall length: 30,4 cm Blade length: 17,8 cm Weight: 196 g Blade thickness: 5,0 mm Blade material: SK-85 Handle material: Leather

Annual Damascus 2020
S.S. Saint Louis
Promising faraway places, the gentle sound of the waves and the seemingly endless expanse of the ocean: on her maiden voyage from New York to Southampton in June 1895, an exuberant holiday mood prevailed on board the S.S. St. Louis. At that time, the passenger ship was considered one of the prestige objects of the influential American Line and sweetened the departure to distant Europe for up to 1,370 passengers with exclusive luxury spread over a length of 169 m at a pleasant cruising speed of 19 knots (approx. 35 km/h) - fine appetisers and stylish comfort included! With its quadruple-expansion steam engine, the S.S. St. Louis was one of the largest and most powerful ocean liners under the American flag at the turn of the century. Mainly intended for transatlantic liner traffic between America and Europe, the steamship was temporarily used as a troop carrier during the Spanish-American War and the First World War. After this turbulent period, the ship was to be fully reassigned to liner service, but in 1920 a major fire on the ship put an abrupt end to this project. In the spirit of the transatlantic liner launched in 1894, Boker presents the American Line S.S. St. Louis, a new edition of the historic Boker razor, limited to 300 pieces worldwide, which brings back the glamour of bygone days and transforms every shave into a breath of exotic faraway places. The imposing ship adorns almost the entire front of the polished 6/8" blade made of carbon steel. The degree head used is the perfect blade shape among connoisseurs for a precise shave of the contours. The blade is stamped with the historic H. Boker & Co. stamp and serrated on the underside. The material used for the handle scales is exquisite ebony, which thanks to its dark colouring is reminiscent of the hull of the S.S. St. Louis, while two studs as well as the Boker tree emblem harmoniously accentuate the crowned hilt. The motif on the blade as well as the historical stamp have been elaborately restored and lasered onto the razor using the most modern techniques. Supplied in a lovingly recreated historical neck box. Details: Blade material: Kohlenstoffstahl Handle material: Ebenholz

Santoku with Hollow Edge
What do Trier, Wiesbaden, Münster and Lüneburg have in common? Apart from a historic city center, landmarks that are famous beyond the borders of the region and a long-standing tradition as important trade cities, they share another important aspect: These cities are the homes of excellent steelware retailers, who have built their outstanding reputation over many years by means of their extensive selection and first-rate expertise. We harnessed their decades of experience, excellent know-how and finely honed every day sense for the requirements and needs of cooking and kitchen enthusiasts in our product development of the Boker Core series, combined with our almost 150 years of experience as a Solingen Knife Manufactory. The results is a product with dynamic lines, excellent handling and breathtaking cutting capability that earned the quality rating "recommended by leading retailers".The solid blade slug made from a chromium-molybdenum-vanadium alloy (X50CrMoV15), perfectly suited for making premium kitchen knives, is hand-forged with Solingen craftsmanship, structurally optimized and then hardened to 58 HRC. In order to give the blade a longer service life and even finer cut, our traditional hand grind is then highly polished. The forged bolster ensures a secure grip and protects the user from possible injuries in case of a slip. A special design feature of all knives in this series is the gently rounded spine. This makes the knife easy and pleasant to handle in any position and prevents unpleasant pressure on the hand – even if strong pressure is applied to the spine, while executing a rock chop, for instance. The beautifully patterned and perfectly proportioned walnut handles round out the cohesive and appealing look. The Santoku is a Knife that is also becoming more and more popular in Europe. It is originally a Japanese blade form for a Utility Knife. Translated, his name means "The Three Virtues", it is equally suitable for meat, fish and vegetables. Thanks to the wide blade, the Santoku is particularly easy to handle. Details: Overall length: 28,5 cm Blade length: 16,5 cm Blade material: X50CrMoV15

98k-Damast
The epic Boker 98k-Damascus brings an important piece of German military history to life. The world-famous 98k carbine was introduced as a standard service rifle by the Wehrmacht, The German Armed Forces in 1935 and remained the most widely used handgun by German soldiers until the end of the Second World War in 1945. The bolt action rifle was based on the Mauser System 98 breech system, which was used with the 98 rifle as the standard weapon of the German Army as early as the First World War.As a reaction to the introduction of the first low smoke ammunition in France, the German Army Command had already commissioned the development of a new cartridge in 1887. This also included the tender for a new rifle. The Prussian Rifle Testing Commission chose the 98 rifle of the brothers Franz-Andreas and Peter-Paul Mauser, who were already known to the Commission for the excellent design and workmanship of the Model 71 from gunpowder times. The rifle locking system, known internationally mainly as the Mauser system, was officially introduced in the Prussian Army in 1898. The pioneering features were the wing safety with three safety positions, the generously dimensioned non-rotating extractor with controlled cartridge feed and the two vertically locking nipples on the head of the chambered case. Reliability, robustness and handling safety make the system to this day the most frequently built and reproduced chamber bolt repeater system in history, and it continues to be manufactured worldwide for civil purposes. The Boker 98k-Damascus picks up different design elements of the 98k bayonet and is also equipped with a unique damascus blade made of the Mauser carbine barrel steel. The remarkable damascus is forged for us by Chad Nichols by hand in the Ripple pattern. The unique blade with its pronounced ricasso is opened by nail nick and reliably locked by a stable backlock. The handle scales made of local walnut wood take up the diagonally grooved structure of the bayonet handle scales and provide a secure grip. Under the steel bolster, the transverse groove for lateral cleaning of the shaft of the cleaning rod holder has also been adopted. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen. With noble floating display, certificate of authenticity and individual serial number. Details: Overall length: 19,5 cm Blade length: 8,4 cm Weight: 109 g Blade thickness: 4,0 mm Blade material: Damast Handle material: Walnussholz Lock: Backlock

Tirpitz-Damast Wood
For years, many of our customers have been interested in our extraordinary collectible knife Boker Tirpitz-Damascus. Its popularity convinced us to develop another model featuring the historic Damascus steel. The Boker Tirpitz-Damascus Wood is approx. 10 mm thick with a much flatter construction. Its much more elegant lines are enhanced by the full-length scales of domestic walnut. The matte wood of the contoured handle scales is CNC-milled in a three-dimensional design. The coat of arms and name of the Tirpitz takes pride of place on the front. The sister ship of the legendary Bismarck was the biggest battleship ever commissioned by the German Navy. Right after the end of World War II, a Norwegian company sent experts to salvage the ship's wreck off the coast of Norway, in order to make the highly alloyed steel available for civilian purposes.Norwegian divers retrieved parts of the armoring of the Tirpitz just for Boker. Our Damascus blacksmith took these pieces of living history and forged an exclusive and exceptional steel with a fascinating history. The mighty blade of hand-forged Damascus steel sports the pattern "Great Pyramid" in 300 layers, which makes this knife the highlight of any blade collection. The combination of Tirpitz steel with carbon tool steel also makes for an extremely durable Damascus. With a Rockwell hardness of 61 to 63 HRC, it is equal to any everyday task. The blade is secured with a 1.5 mm thick linerlock and opens with a removable thumbstud. With a clip (tip-up).
