Based on the North American P-51 Mustang, the knife reflects the material, shape and colour of the fighter plane from the 1940s and thus almost creates a replica of its historical model.Between 1940 and 1948, around 15,800 examples of the low-wing aircraft were produced in various versions, making it still one of the most frequently built military aircraft in the world today. The P-51 D is the most common series, with just under 8,000 pieces. The special features of the P-51 Mustang, whose "P" in the name stands for Pursuit, lie in its aerodynamic full-metal construction with the characteristic countersunk studs, which in combination with the massive Packard Merlin V-1650 engine enabled a top speed of 700 km/h with an extraordinary range of up to 3,300 km. Many of them are ordinary cars, while others are exclusively chosen. The Chevrolet Camaro was originally designed as a so-called Pony Car, which was intended to appeal primarily to younger buyer groups. Compact, sporty and affordable - the coupé was the stalwart for the semi-strong. Success was not long in coming. From 1966 to 1969, approximately 700,000 Camaro models with 12 different engine variants rolled off the production line. In 1969, the last Camaro of the first generation, the Z28, was introduced. The deep sound of the powerful Windsor V8 small block engine with 250 HP has a calming effect,turning the road trip in the Ford Mustang into a very special moment. Inspired by the World War II fighter plane, the P-51 Mustang, Ford developed its own Mustang in the early 1960s, and brought it to market in April 1964. As a compact sports coupe, the affordable pony car, emblazoned with the iconic galloping horse emblem in the radiator grill, appealed primarily to a younger clientele. To counteract the highly motorized competition from Dodge, Pontiac and Chevrolet, Ford made a statement in the league of powerful muscle cars with the Mustang Mach-1. This system has been used by professional barbers and hairdressers for many years before we optimized it.The geometry and size of the Boker Pro Barberette follows that of the premium-quality forged straight razors made by the Boker Manufactory Solingen. The bottom of the tang has a fine serration, offering a secure grip even when wet. In order to improve opening the two blade halves, the round point is tapered inward on both sides. When the clamp is removed, the two halves can be easily pushed against each other by means of the round point. Precise riveting and superior craftsmanship ensure precise function and a long life even with heavy use.The Boker Pro Barberette combines professional functionality, a familiar grip and balance and the authentic aesthetics of a classic straight razor. The coat of arms and name of the Tirpitz takes pride of place on the front.The sister ship of the legendary Bismarck was the biggest battleship ever commissioned by the German Navy. Right after the end of World War II, a Norwegian company sent experts to salvage the ship's wreck off the coast of Norway, in order to make the highly alloyed steel available for civilian purposes.Norwegian divers retrieved parts of the armoring of the Tirpitz just for Boker. Our Damascus blacksmith took these pieces of living history and forged an exclusive and exceptional steel with a fascinating history.
