ESEE 3/4 MOLLE Sheath Khaki

This MOLLE back fits both the ESEE-3 and ESEE-4 hard sheaths. Simply align the holes in the lower portion with the holes in the sheath and use the hardware and plastic ring from the original clip plate to securely fasten the MOLLE back to the sheath. The top of the MOLLE back has both an adjustable handle retention strap and a flap that can be slipped over the pommel end of the knife and secured tight with the paracord and cord lock, making the RC5 or RC6 sheath jump-safe. Both the top portion and lower portion of the MOLLE back have a built in belt loop and have MOLLE straps compatible with the military and LEO PALS system. The top portion of the MOLLE back can be removed from the bottom portion by unsnapping the lower MOLLE strap and threading it through the plastic ring holding the two halves of the MOLLE back together. You can then thread the strap back through an extra plastic ring (provided) before re-threading the strap through the lower cross straps to secure it to a belt or gear again. As with any MOLLE strap system always thread the long strap under the last cross strap right above the snap to make sure the snap stays securely fastened. Failure to do so can result in unwanted release of the snap under extreme stress.

Imlay Rescue Knife

The Imlay™ rescue knife is based on the legendary Izula® pattern and designed to be attached to a PFD, harness or belt. The knife gets its name from a well-known technical slot canyon in Zion National Park that requires more than 40 rappels and negotiating numerous obstacles to complete.Developed by the ESEE team during their SAR, swiftwater, and recreational rope activities, the knife features a dull, blunted tip for safer use around tensioned ropes or rescue subjects, serrations to get through tough materials, double spine jimping for a more secure grip, skeletonized design to reduce size and weight, O2 slot, and 440C stainless steel for use in wet environments, as well as its edge holding abilities.The sheathing features an ESEE designed secondary retention strap and multiple carry options. The system can be clipped into your gear rack with a small accessory carabiner by using the sheath hole, laced onto a PFD using the supplied cordage by going through the sheath holes, or simply clipped into place using an Izula Clip Plate (we do not suggest the latter method for environments requiring very secure attachments).
