The Frog Market Special is made of 1095 High Carbon Steel, and has Tan Canvas Micarta scales. It has the Tungsten Cerakote finish that is quickly becoming one of the most popular finishes that TOPS offers. The wide heel allows for deep, shearing cuts. She has filled many roles in the company during her tenure, from cord wrapping handles to purchasing everything (parts, pieces, tools, even paper towels) for the company. The Brush Wolf was designed while considering the diverse environments coyotes traverse. They can be spotted deep in the forest, open fields, deserts, grasslands, swamps, cities, and even the alley behind your local Starbucks. The Brush Wolf was designed by Aaron and Nate Morgan of Houghton Era after a few tracking excursions in some viaducts in Detroit, MI. The two brothers grew up skateboarding there and became attracted to the remnants of coyote activity they were finding at some of the skate spots. Coyotes are known by many names, Song Dogs, Tricksters, Shape shifters, gods of the threshold. The Silent Hero was designed by Anton Du Plessis, who at the time of the design was the Chief of Operations for the Specialized Interdiction Unit of the Silent Heroes Foundation. His task was to combat the poaching crisis in South Africa. This knife had to be durable, versatile, and able to fill Anton's needs in the field, which affected the design of the blade and the handle. It will definitely hold up to hard use. And with a weight of only 12 oz, you'll be able to use the knife without getting fatigued too quickly. There is a lanyard hole in the handle along with another in the finger guard. This is meant to allow the user to add a safety cord to improve the grip on the handle, which already allows for a solid grip.
