To celebrate Pohl Force's 15th anniversary, the popular Bravo One and Two Gen. 1 folding knife models are reissued.
Right from the very beginning, their size and compact shapes made them ideal companions for everyday use. And this has not changed to this day. Like the Alpha Two X on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the company with the original handle design of the first generation. The new Classic Edition also features the other details such as the lock-back mechanism, the pocket clip that can be mounted on either the left or right side, and the two-handed opening of the blade.
It's not only Pohl Force that is celebrating an anniversary, but also designer and company founder Dietmar Pohl. At the beginning of the 1990s, now 30 years ago, he created his first knife designs on paper, which opened up a new chapter in his life. ATS-34 from the Japanese steel manufacturer Hitachi, a pendant to the American 154CM steel, was one of the most popular steels of the time. For nearly a decade, ATS-34 steel remained the first choice of custom knifemakers before powder metallurgy steel took off in the 2000s. On the occasion of the company's anniversary, Dietmar Pohl managed to obtain "his" steel again in a very limited quantity and use it for the Classic Edition of the Bravo One / Two. The very corrosion-resistant ATS-34 impresses with its outstanding sharpness and high edge retention.
The Bravo Two Classic BK is equipped with durable handle scales made of black GRP and a Tanto blade with an exciting two-tone finish (stonewashed/ longitudinal satin finish).
Now in a set with the Bravo One belt holster. The sturdy holster made of durable nylon is specially designed for the Bravo series. The Velcro strap reliably secures the Bravo. The holster can be used vertically (belt width up to 50 mm) and horizontally (belt width up to 40 mm).

With the new Compact models, designer Dietmar Pohl has developed an extremely robust and very compact knife series for everyday use. The main focus is on the massive and 86 millimeter long modern Spear Point blade of the Compact Two, which is enormously solid in construction with a thickness of 6 mm. For high cutting durability and resilience of the blades, the well-known D2 tool steel was chosen. The stonewashed finish creates a scratch resistant surface and also increases the corrosion resistance of the blade. The reduced handle design is the basis for the very compact size of the knife. The comfortably rounded tang and the sophisticatedly designed finger grooves provide a great and secure grip, especially in combination with the likewise CNC-milled handle scales made of G-10. The distinctive milling in the front section of the handle serves as an index and support point for the thumb. The Compact Two SW is equipped with a sturdy and high-quality Kydex® sheath in in color FDE (Flat Dark Earth). Whether for everyday use or as an ultra-flat back-up knife in the outdoor or bushcraft sector: the new Charlie Three Gen2 covers a wide range of applications!
The modern Spear Point blade and the handle of the Charlie Three Gen2 are made of six millimeter thick D2 tool steel, which gives the knife both a high degree of resilience and edge retention. The handle and blade have a black TiN coating.
CNC technology is used to elaborately carve all the details out of the deliberately flat handle of the new Charlie Gen2 series. The rounded tang and the index areas for the index finger and thumb ensure a comfortable and secure hand position. If required, the handle holes can be used for a feed-through and winding with parachute cord.
The Charlie Three BK Gen2 is equipped with a robust and high-quality sheath made of 2.5 mm thick Kydex®. The new, screwed belt loops made of high-strength plastic allow an even flatter and more inconspicuous carry on the body.

For all collectors of MOVIE KNIVES and enthusiasts of exclusive leather sheaths: we have some leather sheaths of the limited MK-9 Legacy Edition available. A unique opportunity!
Just over 40 kilometers west of the historical city of Florence, in the picturesque countryside, you will find Fucecchio. This is where the manufacturer RADAR has its headquarters. One of the leading manufacturers of holsters for the police and military sector. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology is the focus at RADAR 1957.
The basis for the leather sheath of the MK-9 Legacy is vegetable tanned leather of the highest quality from Valdarno. The vegetable tanning manufacturing process has a long tradition in this region and is the oldest way of tanning leather.
The manufacturing of high quality leather sheaths and holsters is still a handicraft. This becomes obvious due to the numerous processing and manufacturing steps, which are still done by hand.
The leather sheath of the MK-9 Legacy is made of seven layers of leather, including the keder. After cutting, these are brought to the necessary thickness for the respective component and then carefully sanded and glued by hand.
In addition to embossing the company logos on the back, one of the first steps in the process is to sew on the loop for the diamond knife sharpener. In many further work steps, the leather sheath is repeatedly ground and polished and the components of the push button are set. The more than 15 millimeter thick edge is sewn carefully and with a lot of experience. The leg strap is given its distinctive buckle.
The leather sheath also includes the diamond knife sharpener from the American manufacturer Eze-Lap from Carson City, Nevada - USA.
Made from solid brass, this American classic was already a reliable feature of the knife in Part II in the mid-1980s and is still so today with the MK-9 Legacy. The solid brass harmonizes perfectly with the warm brown tone of the fine leather sheath.

MK-9 Legacy

Width: 79 mm | 3.11 inches

With the Prepper One series, Pohl Force introduced a completely new knife concept for bushcrafters and outdoor enthusiasts in 2016: Compact in overall size, a blade length that complies with German weapons regulations (below 12 cm) and a hollow handle for storing survival utensils. After just a short time, Dietmar Pohl's design became a real classic in civilian use.
In 2023/24, the Prepper One formed the basis for the further development of a completely new generation, which now focuses on the needs of crew members of civilian and, in particular, military aircraft. The term S.E.R.E. (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, Escape) refers to the ability to survive, evade, resist and escape. The Prepper S.E.R.E. II was developed with this application profile in mind.
With an overall length of 24.5 cm and a weight of 260 g (without sheath and survival equipment in the handle), it is ideal for equipping a survival vest or a survival pack. The 6 mm thick blade made of German Niolox steel (Friedr. Lohmann GmbH, Witten) gives the Prepper S.E.R.E. II high edge retention, excellent abrasion resistance and good corrosion resistance. In short: maximum reliability in use! The entire blade has been blasted using the "double-blast" process, which is intended to prevent reflections and also make the surface more dense. One completely new feature of the Prepper S.E.R.E. II is the hand guard with screwdriver and slotted hole. The screwdriver protects the cutting edge if you need to unscrew equipment and the slotted hole can be used to attach a cord to a spear. Another new feature is the flat, roughened tang on the back, which can be used both for hammering and for rubbing a firesteel. A key attached to the tang allows access to the inside of the handle. Designer Dietmar Pohl has chosen black G-10 as the handle material, which is neutral in color and matches many areas of application.
As with the first Prepper generation, the S.E.R.E. II was manufactured exclusively for Pohl Force by our manufacturing partner Lionsteel in Maniago. The Kydex sheath was skillfully implemented by our Spanish partner according to Pohl Force specifications and received various upgrades. In addition to the 2.5 mm material used as standard at Pohl Force since 2021, the adapter is now secured to the sheath body with four screws instead of two. A handle loop also secures the knife against loss and keeps it closer to the body. Snagging of the handle on the aircraft or bushes on the ground can be virtually ruled out. A 550/type III parachute cord (1 meter long) with a breaking load of 249 kg looped through the eyelets can be used for building traps or other tasks. Blade length 11.8 cm. Collector's pouch included.

The MK-9 Legacy impresses not only with its appearance, but with a multitude of well thought-out functional elements. The size and appearance is the same as Dietmar Pohl's legendary MK-9 concept, but the design, which was conceived as a combat knife, is transformed into a survival knife with a great sense of form, detail and functionality. Key elements include the back saw, screwdrivers on the handguard, elongated holes in the handguard for attaching lanyards, a cavity for survival gear inside the handle, a striking element at the end of the handle, and a key for opening the handle screws.
The MK-9 was crafted with only selected and high-quality materials. The massive Spearpoint blade, 230 millimetres long and 6,2 millimetres thick, is made of the high-alloy carbon steel Niolox. It impresses with properties such as high rust resistance and special cutting durability. The blasted surface of the blade prevents reflection and emphasizes the technical look of the Legacy.
The textured handle scales made of black G-10 or green canvas composite material are CNC milled from solid material. Both materials are extremely durable and resistant to mechanical stress as well as other external environmental influences. According to Pohl Force standard, the tang is provided with a SRM (Surface Round Milling) that realizes a high grip comfort. Easy access to the cavity of the handle is made possible with the included key.
As with the CNC-Tec Edition of MOVIE KNIVES, the MK-9 Legacy will be built to strict specifications in close cooperation with our European manufacturing partner Lionsteel. The multiple winner of the 'Blade Manufacturing Award' is a guarantee for outstanding quality. The very high-quality and elaborately designed leather sheath of the knife is another highlight. Our manufacturing partner is the renowned company Radar 1957 - Italy, one of the leading manufacturers of holsters for the police and military sector. Based in Tuscany, near Florence, the company looks back on almost 70 years of experience.
A homage to the beginnings is also the diamond knife sharpener, which completes the leather sheath of the MK-9 Legacy. The American classic is manufactured by Eze-Lap from Carson City, Nevada. The solid brass harmonizes perfectly with the warm brown tone of the fine leather sheath. A sturdy leg strap is also included.
The scope of delivery also includes an anniversary patch, eight lobby cards, a vintage flyer and a high-quality collector's pouch. This has a 2-way zipper (lockable) as well as a Velcro area for patches. Perfect for secure transport or as a pad to display the MK-9 Legacy.

The knives are part of the limited MK-11 series with the corresponding serial number "... of 600".
In the film "Last Blood®," the former Special Forces and Vietnam fighter uses a variety of different combat knives. More than in any other film in the five-part action series (1982-2019). Designers Dietmar Pohl and Stoil Manchev were given the great privilege of using unusual and contemporary designs. Impressively staged by the main actor, they already count among true classics.
Over the past four years, a third MOVIE KNIFE concept design has been slumbering in Dietmar Pohl's very personal design archive. Due to the enormously short lead time to filming in the fall of 2018, it had no longer been possible to realize it and present it to the film star and the production team.
In July 2022, however, Dietmar Pohl surprised the action hero on his 76th birthday with the first prototype of the MK-11, which can be both a tool and a weapon. In the fall of 2022, the legendary action series will celebrate its 40th anniversary (1982-2022). For this special occasion, Pohl Force is producing the MK-11 concept design in a numbered and strictly limited series of only 600 pieces worldwide.
MK-11 Last Blood® Concept - when Dietmar Pohl got to read the script at short notice in 2018, he very quickly realized how determined the action hero wanted to go into battle using all means. It had to be a design with which one could hack, stab and also strike with great force. The idea of such a special means of action was well known to designer Dietmar Pohl from the armament of British commandos in World War II. In his professional career, he worked intensively with Colonel Rex Applegate, among others, who shared his expertise with him. Applegate is still considered one of the most recognized experts in the field of armed close combat.
With the MK-11, Pohl Force takes the philosophy of this early command weapon and brings it into the 21st century with contemporary materials and manufacturing processes. 6 millimeter thick and highly durable D2 steel with a Rockwell hardness of 59-60 HRC give the 26.3 centimeter long blade superior cutting performance and durability.
To protect against reflections and corrosion, the MK-11 is additionally coated with a black PVD coating. For the CNC-manufactured handle made of impact-resistant G-10, Pohl adopted the proven handle design of its MK-9 combat knife, but dispensed with the additional subhilt. As with the MK-8 and MK-9, the handle ends with a precisely milled striking element. In order to be able to carry the MK-11 optimally in the field, the scope of delivery includes a very elaborately manufactured sheath made of 2.5 mm thick Kydex®. The two leg straps allow a comfortable attachment to the thigh. To secure the MK-11 to the hand, it is equipped with a knotted lanyard.

Care instructions:
The blade of the MK-11 Last Blood Concept® is made of D2 (1.2379) tool steel, which has enormous cutting durability, but requires a certain amount of basic care due to the chrome content of 11.8 %. Corrosion can occur in the absence of proper maintenance. For prevention, the knife should be cleaned, dried and re-oiled regularly to prevent rust and corrosion. Especially when the knife comes into contact with uncertain substances or acidic liquids or marine environment.
With the new Compact models, designer Dietmar Pohl has developed an extremely robust and very compact knife series for everyday use.The main focus is on the massive and 88 millimeter long classic Bowie blade of the Compact One, which is enormously solid in construction with a thickness of 6 mm. The Compact One SW is equipped with a sturdy and high-quality Kydex® sheath in in color FDE (Flat Dark Earth). Combat knives have always had the second leading role in the five-part film franchise (1982-2019) of the former Vietnam Green Beret, from survival knives to modern tactical mission knives like the MK-8 and MK-9 - designed by designer Dietmar Pohl. Combat daggers were also part of the legendary Special Forces action hero's equipment. The Bulgarian knifemaker and designer Stoil Manchev had the great privilege to design the second classic dagger ever used in the film franchise for the final installment "Last Blood". His MK-10 design is unique in its use of traditional Damascus steel, which has only been used once in a knife in the entire film franchise. With the MK-10, knifemaker Stoil Manchev created a unique dagger, which knows how to impress with its modern design, high-precision CNC manufacturing and especially with its masterful finishing. The centerpiece of the MK-10 is the symmetrical and precisely ground stainless Damascus steel blade in the pattern of large roses. 59-60 Rockwell provide the blade with an impressive sharpness.Manchev deliberately designed the handle scales to be slimmer towards the end of the handle in order to reveal the tang and the impressive and lively Damascus structure once again. Attached stainless steel bolsters, which were adjusted by hand and then finely satin-finished, are a tribute to the knifemaking art of past days. The bolsters are followed by handle scales made of textured G-10, which also have a noble, matte finish. The MK-10 Last Blood® is equipped with a no less elaborately manufactured Kydex® sheath with carrying adapter. To protect the finely etched Damascus blade and the bolsters from scratches, the inside is provided with a special inlay. The dagger is safely stored in the included nylon collector's pouch, which can also serve as a presentation pad. This collector's item of the First Production Run, limited to only 600 pieces worldwide, is being completed by a certificate of authenticity personally signed by Stoil Manchev and Dietmar Pohl and a photo print of the designers. Matching the MK-8 and MK-9, this dagger of movie knife history should not be missing in any serious collection.

With the new Charlie Two Generation Two (Gen2), designer Dietmar Pohl is further optimizing the successful product series of minimalist and extremely resilient knives in 2024. Whether for everyday use or as an ultra-flat back-up knife in the outdoor or bushcraft sector: the new Charlie Two Gen2 covers a wide range of applications!
The modern Bowie blade and the handle of the Charlie Two Gen2 are made of six millimeter thick D2 tool steel, which gives the knife both a high degree of resilience and edge retention. The stonewashed finish creates a scratch-resistant surface and also increases the blade's resistance to corrosion.
The Charlie Two SW Gen2 is equipped with a robust and high-quality black sheath made of 2.5 mm thick Kydex®. The new, screwed belt loops made of high-strength plastic allow an even flatter and more inconspicuous carry on the body.

Impressively staged by the main actor, they already count among true classics.Over the past four years, a third MOVIE KNIFE concept design has been slumbering in Dietmar Pohl's very personal design archive. Due to the enormously short lead time to filming in the fall of 2018, it had no longer been possible to realize it and present it to the film star and the production team.In July 2022, however, Dietmar Pohl surprised the action hero on his 76th birthday with the first prototype of the MK-11, which can be both a tool and a weapon. In the fall of 2022, the legendary action series will celebrate its 40th anniversary (1982-2022). For this special occasion, Pohl Force is producing the MK-11 concept design in a numbered and strictly limited series of only 600 pieces worldwide.MK-11 Last Blood® Concept - when Dietmar Pohl got to read the script at short notice in 2018, he very quickly realized how determined the action hero wanted to go into battle using all means.

The new Classic Edition also features the other details such as the lock-back mechanism, the pocket clip that can be mounted on either the left or right side, and the two-handed opening of the blade
The Bravo One Classic FDE is equipped with durable handle scales made of GRP military tactical in the color Flat Dark Earth and a Spearpoint blade in Dark Stonewashed finish.
