Sehr schwere und hochwertige Machete.

Die Machete ist sehr schön verarbeitet und ziemlich schwer. Full Tang. Der Stahl ist 1090 High Carbon Stahl. Die Machete ist fast 7 Mm dick. Von der Größe war ich etwas enttäuscht: wenn Sylvester Stallone die Machete in Rambo 4 in der Hand hat, sieht sie irgendwie größer aus. Da ich aber größer bin als Stallone, kommt das wohl hin. Wer damit arbeiten will sollte wissen daß die Machete sehr schwer ist. Aktionen wie Stallone im Film damit macht (auch in Last Blood) sind m.E. teils unmöglich. Für die Filme wurden aber auch Nachbauten aus Gummi gefertigt, die natürlich leichter sind, damit niemand verletzt wurde. Durch den Busch rennen mit diesem schweren Stück Karbon-Stahl an der Hüfte und am Bein festgebunden kann man vergessen. Das Band mit dem der Griff umwickelt ist, ist aus Stoff, nicht aus Leder. Dafür ist die Scheide nicht aus Kunstleder, sondern aus Leder. Als Rambo-Fan sollte man diese Machete kaufen, und wenn man Holz hacken will (oder andere Sachen) sollte man sie auch kaufen. Nur stark sollte man sein wegen dem Gewicht.

Ich habe das Messer an einem Montag bestellt und durfte es 2 Tage später schon in meinen Händen halten, besser geht es nicht !!! Das Messer wird in einer sehr schönen und stabilen Verpackung geliefert. Zum Messer sei zu sagen, dass es mir beim Auspacken zuerst die Sprache verschlagen hat und ich einfach nur gestaunt habe " Was ein geiles Teil !!" Das Messer hat einen sehr wertigen Zustand, ich war, und bin es immer noch, von der Größe beeindruckt. Der Schärfegrad ist okay, könnte aber noch etwas schärfer sein, was man aber sicherlich noch nachbessern kann. Die Griffigkeit ist optimal, und man hält etwas wirklich schweres in der Hand. Die Lederscheide ist auch sehr schön gefertigt, und passt optimal zum Messer. Fazit: Um seine Rambomessersammlung zu komplementieren kommt man um dieses Messer nicht drumherum. Das Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis ist top, hier bekommt man für verhältnismäßig wenig Geld enorm viel geboten. Klare Kaufempfehlung

Wie bereits die Vorredner beschrieben haben ist das Messer zwar stumpf, das hat sich nach dem schärfen jedoch flott erledigt. Super Verarbeitung und extrem schwer. Durch die Wicklung sieht das ganze richtig gut aus, wie das echte Rambo Messer eben. Die Bezeichnung Messer fällt bei diesem gewaltigen Prügel eigentlich schon fast aus. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!

Sehr solide, schwer und furchteinflößend. Ein tolles "Messer" damit läßt sich ohne Probleme Holz hacken... etc. Kommt allerdings ziemlich stumf, muss man dann eben schleifen lassen. Sonst aber Top!

Sehr gutes stabiles und massives (massiges) Messer.wie ein Vorredner breits erwähnt hat beträgt die Klingenstärke 7mm und nicht wie wie von swords and more geschrieben 6mm, was allerdings auch nicht negativ zu bewerten ist.(meiner Meinung nach) Insgesammmt ein super Messer mit gut verarbeiteter Lederscheide. Man bekommt hier viel Messer für verhältnismäßig wenig Geld. Ein must have für Sammler und Outdoorfans.

Ich meine, es eignet sich weniger als Axt, es sei denn man bringt selber Griffschalen an. Man sollte jedoch Hartmetallbohrer oder Diamantbohrer dazu verwenden. Man kann sich auch aus Kydexplatten eine eigene Scheide bauen, obwohl die im Lieferumfang enthaltene Scheide auch gut ist! Was die Stabilität betrifft kenne ich kein Messer/Machete dass so stabil ist, eben wegen des Stahls und aufgrund der Integralbauweise.
