Gram, also known as “Gramr,” is one of the most legendary swords of Norse mythology. Inspired by the famous weapon from the Völsunga saga, this impressive replica combines mythological storytelling with detailed craftsmanship. The tale of Sigurd the dragon slayer later inspired many fantasy works, including those of J. R. R. Tolkien.
According to legend, the sword was first granted by Odin, later shattered, and finally reforged by the dwarf blacksmith Reginn so Sigurd could slay the dragon Fafnir. This replica captures the spirit of that mythical weapon while blending historical inspiration with elaborate fantasy aesthetics.
The blade is hand forged from 1075 high carbon steel, offering authentic appearance and excellent balance. The brass guard and pommel feature intricate dragon motifs and rune engravings. The leather grip is crafted using the traditional “wet-wrap” method, creating its distinctive textured surface.
The wood scabbard is leather lined and decorated with embossed dragon designs and an aged finish. A matching leather belt is also included.
