This classic Norman Nasal Helmet is a perfect example of the traditional Viking look. This style helmet is pictured extensively on the Bayeaux Tapestry. Its basic, minimalist design allowed for excellent vision and unencumbered breathing. The helmet is a classic skullcap with a reinforcing band around the base, and a crossbar nasal guard that extends downward to protect the nose and to a lesser extent, the face.
Handforged from 18 gauge steel. Fabric lining, as well as an adjustable leather chin strap. Very comfortable and easy to wear.
