Highlander – ein unfassbar guter und erfolgreicher Film, der eine ganze Film- und auch TV-Reihe nach sich zog. Das Mysterium der Unsterblichkeit ist immer noch faszinierend und natürlich gehört zu dieser Legende auch das passende Schwert. Dieses ist mit sehr umfangreichen Details gearbeitet und kommt in einer robusten Wildlederscheide. Die Scheide ist mit einem schmalen Gurt ausgerüstet um sich das Schwert umzuschnallen. An der Parierstange ist beeindruckend der Schriftzug des Clan MacLeod geformt und das Heft mit Wildleder eingebunden und mit Draht umwickelt. Die Klinge ist mit 81cm sehr lang und das Schwert hat eine Gesamtlänge von 102cm. Es sieht sehr wuchtig aus aber die Klinge wirkt ein wenig locker. Insgesamt bekommt man hier ein sehr dekoratives Schwert, das eine Sammlung bereichert und auch als Wandschmuck ein echter Hingucker ist. Empfehlenswert!

Dem Schwert an sich, würde ich 5 Punkte geben, allerdings kann ich es noch nicht mal als Zierwaffe am Gürtel oder dem Rücken tragen, da die Gurtbefestigungen an der Lederscheide (die von geringer Qualität ist) an so ungünstigen Punkten befestigt sind, dass der schwere Griff des Schwertes immer nach unten hängt. Ohne weitere Hilfsmittel kann das Schwert nich getragen werden; außer, man trägt es komplett in der Hand... Das Schwert an sich hängt bald an meiner Wand, ich hoffe, ich kann es an meiner Hochzeit irgendwie anders mit mir führen, als es komplett in Händen zu tragen...
