Japanese sharpening stone.
This synthetic whet stone is open-pored, has got a uniform particle storage and a high sharpening performance. These stones are usually used with water and are not exclusively for Japanese knife. Before use, the stone must be 10 to 15 minutes in the water. The 1000 grain can be used universally, the 3000 grain allows a fine grinding and should be wetted while grinding regularly. 1000 grain is suitable for the regrinding.
