Ich habe das Schwert nun nach fast 4 Monaten wartezeit endlich in Händen. Der erste eindruck ist sehr gut, obwohl es etliche abweichungen zum Bild gibt. Der Griff ist nun mit braunem Leder umhüllt und ordentlich vernäht. Die Scheide ist ebenfalls aus braunem Leder und nur noch an der Spitze mit Metal verstärkt. An der Scheide ist nun eine Art Gürtelersatz angebracht, aus der ich aber nicht wirklich schlau werde, da keine Anleitung beiliegt wie das Teil zu schliesen ist. Abnehmen kann man den Gürtel leider nicht, da sonst die Scheide zerstört wird. Das Schwert selbst hat nach dem Schleifen eine Scharfe aber nicht zu scharfe Schneide, die recht robust wirkt. Insgesamt muss ich sagen das diese Klinge den meisten Anforderungen die man an ein Breitschwert stellt vollauf entspricht. Missen möchte ich es in meiner Sammlung nicht mehr, auch wenn ich die Scheide nicht wirklich mag.

Vorweg: Für den Preis ein saugeiles Teil. Kein leichtes Schwert, aber für jemanden der etwas Handfestes haben möchte, wohl genau das Richtige. Trotz der durchschnittlichen Klingenlänge macht der lange Griff hier Sinn, da das Schwert recht wuchtig ist. Leider ist die Griffwicklung nur geklebt, aber ohne Probleme zu ersetzen. Die Parierstange ist ein Blickfang, gut verarbeit und stabil. Die Scheide entspricht nicht der Abbildung hier im Shop und ist eher billig, aber zumindest funktionell. Man sollte sich für so ein Schwert dann doch eine etwas edlere Scheide zulegen. Für alle die auf "Breitschwertfeeling" stehen, ist dieses Schwert absolut empfehlenswert.

Schöne ausgewogen Klinge. Schwertmittelpunkt ca. 1 Handbreite vor dem Handschutz. Klinge sieht sauber verarbeitet aus und das Produkt ist nicht u schwer. Minuspunkte gibt es: - Griffumwickelung löst sich, da das Leder nur einfach um den Griff gewickelt ist. - Sicherung der Klinge am Knauf etwas unsauber und nicht entgratet.

This sword is a beast! It's practically undestructible as in the same line of other DS swords. If you wanna handle it properly with agility you better start working out cause this sword is not for ladies, kids or skinny men ;) It takes strong arms, shoulders and wrists to handle it properly.
