Two and a half years have passed since Naruto left Konoha together with Jiraiya to train. A new danger has presented itself as the secret organization Akatsuki is slowly preparing for battle to capture the Bijou spirits. Because Naruto is also involved, he and Jiraiya return to Konoha. With their sights firmly set on Orochimaru and Sasuke, Kakashi, Sakura and Naruto plan their strategy as “Team Kakashi”… until Akatsuki raids the village of Sunagakure and kidnaps the Kazekage Gaara.
Sasuke is an extremely talented young ninja, and one of the last remaining survivors of the massacre on the Uchiha family, which Itachi Uchuha, Sasuke’s brother, was responsible for. In school he is interested in no one and always keeps his cool. He is valedictorian of his class, but secretly only wants to satisfy his desire for revenge on his brother. Together with his teacher Kakashi Hatake and his teammates Naruto Uzumaki und Sakura Haruno he experiences many adventures in the course of his training, until he abandons himself to his desire for revenge, betrays Konohagakure, and joins Orochimaru.
