John Lee Katsumoto Katana
Grip-wrap is Katate Maki-Style (War-wrap) made of black cotton, under which real blackened ray skin is underlayed. Two dowels (Mekugi) fix the blade in the grip.
The Imori Katana will be delivered in a wooden box with a sword stand.

For now this is my only 'real' katana. Although I did not buy this katana at Sowrd & More, I still want to give my opinion about it. As I already said this is my only katana at the moment. And oh dear: it's a great one at that! The blade itself has a great feeling to it, thanks to clever worked out balance-point. It is somewhat longer and more heavy than your average katana. But this is not an issue, it only makes it feel more premium. Also the combination of fittings, the used materials and real hamon of the blade make it a great katana. Even if I don't had the privilege of wielding other brands of katana's, I can definitelly reccommend this katana. Especially if you're looking for a more seriious/high class katana, without spending too much (over 750 euro range). If you have the money for it, and are willing to pay a bit more for aa good katana, than this could be a great choice for you!
