Folded Blade Sword With Scabbard
Blade was born half-vampire, when his mother was fatally bitten by the powerful vampire, Deacon Frost. This has given him superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes and extraordinary senses. However, these abilities come with one major weakness, his thirst for blood.
Blade also has a healing factor, but this does not retard his aging. Unlike the rest of the vampire community, he can walk in sunlight, though it causes some discomfort and he must wear sunglasses. Because of this rare ability, he has become know as the Daywalker. He is a master of martial arts and is aided in his quest by his long-time friend, Whistler. This companion-in-arms has created for Blade an arsenal of weaponry ranging from his acid-etched titanium sword and glaive, to a MAC-10 automatic pistol. Blade can speak Czech, Russian and of course, the Vampire language.
Blade remains committed to his mission, to rid the world of all vampires.

Der Film Blade ist wohl einer der besten und vor allem kultigsten Filme aus dem Vampir-Genre. Besonders der markante Daywalker mit seinem Schwert, das an die alten Schwerter der Samurai erinnert, ist absoluter Kult. Sein besagtes Schwert hat einiges zu diesem Status beigetragen und so sollte es auch in der vorliegenden Variante mit einer Länge von ca. 89cm und der Schwertscheide als Rückenhalterung in keiner Sammlung fehlen. Zwar ist es nicht die Version, in der der Griff mit herausspringen Klingen gegen fremde Benutzung gesichert ist (Kenner des Films wissen was wir meinen), trotzdem sieht das Schwert mega aus und ist äußerst dekorativ. Mit den Nylon-Gurten kann der Rückenhalter wunderbar aufgeschnallt und getragen werden. Das Schwert kann mit der Haltung auch wunderbar an die Wand montiert werden und eignet sich bestens als außergewöhnliche Dekoration. Jeder Schwert-Fan wird uns hier beipflichten, dass diese Schwert ein starkes Preisleitungsverhältnis hat und äußerst ansehnlich ist. Wir können es auf jeden Fall nur empfehlen!

Sehr gute Replika des Filmschwerts. Sehr gute Verarbeitung, sehr stabil und einfach ein schönes Stück. Die Variante mit der gefalteten Klinge sieht m.M.n. besser und edler aus. Klare Kaufempfehlung für alle Blade-Fans.

It is very hard to rate this product. For American buyers, This site is very friendly with shipping and the process was done in a very timely manner. The Scabbard is fine as anyone would imagine, but the big question is about the sword itself. While it has very fine detail in craftsmanship, whoever makes these hand forged swords has a sick sense of humor. I do not blame Swords & More for this as they are simply a store and vendor, but the people who made this sword should not be doing so. The blade itself is made out of High Carbon Steel which is the standard for battle ready swords and it hand sharpened to a very fine edge. The blade itself is magnificent and very durable. The handle is well crafted with perfect detail. So what is the big problem with this sword? No tang. Let me repeat that. Not rat tail. Not half tang. No tang. When i was cutting bamboo mats with it earlier tonight the blade literally flew out of the handle. Adhesive was the only thing keeping that blade in place. This sword is to battle ready what a spoon is to cutting a loaf of bread. It gives off all the red flags of a battle ready sword but is really a Trojan horse of one. I mean even the cheap Stainless Steel replicas are at least held in with a single screw, so how could they botch something that simple with a product made of such high quality parts? Even half tang would have been nice, bit this has absolutely nothing. If you intend on buying this as a wall hanger, then power to you. It will make a beautiful addition to any collection and make people envy the quality. For practitioners looking for a good cutting sword? Buyers beware. While the sword's blade is top notch, the tang leaves much to be desired. fortunately for me, i have the correct tools to right this wrong in the design and i can easily create notch holes along the flat tang of the blade and add blackened pegs to match the handle to create a truly battle ready revision of this sword. I would give the product itself a 3 out of five rating, but that would be unfair to the vendor itself who has been nothing but professional, patient and very informative for all my questions and needs during this purchase and process. I highly recommend this store.
