These daggers were used primarily in the left hand to parry an opponents blows. The stepped decorative finials of the down turned guard could also be used to engage an opponents blade, even if only briefly to provide the opportunity for a counter thrust. Ich habe die stumpfe Version erworben. Der Balancepunkt ist direkt an der Parierstange. Schwerer 10-eckiger Knauf, der sehr massiv ist und in einer kleinen Kugel ausläuft. Der Griff ist strukturiert und liegt gut in der Hand. Die Klinge und die Metallteile sind spiegelpoliert. Die Scheide ist sehr dekorativ. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
