One handed swords, which according to the Oakeshott typology are classified as type XII were widely used among the crusaders.
Their popularity is not only reflected in the numbers of surviving specimens and their numerous depictions, but also in the broad variety of shapes.
In spite of its two fullers this crusader army sword has a broad and relatively heavy blade, which makes it a powerful cutting weapon.
Thanks to its spiraling leather-wrapped wooden handle it is easy to control at all times. An octagonal pommel, adorned with a black cross and eight golden rivets gives the weapon its unmistakable appearance.

Sehr gut gearbeitets Schwert. Konnte bisher keine Verarbeitungsfehler entdecken. Keine Kratzer oder ähnliches. Bin sehr zufrieden. Auf der einen Seite der Scheide sieht man die Naht, mit der sie zusammengenäht wurde, die ist aber auch sehr ordentlich und fällt so kaum auf. Bin sehr zufrieden!
