Product information "Hand and a Half Dagger"

The new Hand-And-A-Half Dagger from Cold Steel with an overall length of approx. 49 cm. This dagger is made from 1055 Carbon steel. A leather scabbard with steel fittings is within the scope of supply.

The Half and a Half Sword is amazingly light and fast. Its approx. 85 cm long blade is quite wide so it can produce deep shearing type cuts yet pointed enough to be effective in a thrusting attack. Its long handle is suitable for both a one or two handed grip and is fashioned out of wood covered in black leather.

This is the companion dagger. Scaled down in size and almost identical in appearance, it offers an approx. 33 cm long blade designed to cut and thrust, yet be sturdy enough to stand in for a buckler in defensive roles.

Every Hand-and-a-Half dagger reflects the highest standards in workmanship and materials and comes fully sharpened and ready for battle.

Passt optisch hervorragend zum Anderthalbhänder, Stahl und Verarbeitung sind ebenfalls von guter Qualität. Die Dolchscheide gibt, genau wie beim Schwert, optimalen Halt und Korrosionsschutz.

Schön verarbeitet und sehr hochwertig. Muss jetzt nur einen Dolchhalter finden der passt. Produkt 70036 Dolchhalter Schwarz passt nicht mal ansatzweise.

Competition Cutting Sword

While Japanese sword cutting competitions have been popular for many decades, there has been little or no interest in exploring the cutting potential of Western swords until very recently. Now in response to this awakening Cold Steel would like to encourage it by offering our own Competition Cutting Sword. Broadly based on the Arbedo, it’s intended for contests using rope, mailing tubes, tatami mats and similar soft targets. Basket Hilt Broadsword

Although Basket-Hilt swords appeared throughout Britain from the mid-sixteenth century on, their association with the the seventeenth and eighteenth century highlander has become legendary. Our Basket-Hilt Broadsword carries a typical Glasgow-style hilt from the mid-eighteenth century. It is likely that the blade of the original sword was made in Germany a century earlier and re-hilted as basket designs were refined. Although the blade of the original bears the "Andrea Ferara" name, it is unlikely that it was made by this renowned Spanish swordsmith, as many good quality blades of the period were so marked (in various spellings!), irrespective of the actual maker. The forged double-edged blade of our sword is in fully tempered high-carbon steel with a solid steel basket. The grip is wire-wrapped rayskin and the basket liner is of felt-covered leather. Our Two Handed Great Sword is the biggest sword we make. But don´t let its size fool you, as there is nothing awkward or clumsy about this awesome sword. Sure it´s big and meant to be carried over the shoulder instead of in a scabbard, but it´s extremely well balanced and easily wielded by people of larger stature and physical strength. For a sword of this size, it´s amazingly light and fast and tips the scales at approximately 1360.8 g. Its 85.09 cm long blade is quite wide so it can produce deep shearing type cuts yet pointed enough to be effective in a thrusting attack.
