TOPS El Machete .230X – Heavy-Duty Full-Tang Machete with 1095 Carbon Steel Blade

Built for demanding backcountry work, the TOPS El Machete .230X is designed to cut through dense vegetation, brush, and smaller branches. Unlike lightweight machetes made from thin stamped steel, this model features a robust full-tang construction made from 1095 high-carbon steel. Its rigid design and forward-weighted balance support powerful chopping performance and efficient clearing during extended use.

The 15.75-inch (40.01 cm) Clip Point machete blade features a black Black Traction coating. This finish helps protect the carbon steel from environmental exposure while giving the blade a distinctive tactical appearance. With a blade thickness of approximately 3.3 mm and a hardness of 56–58 HRC, it is built for demanding outdoor tasks.

The ergonomically contoured handle scales are made from tan and black Canvas Micarta and sit flush against the full tang. Their textured surface provides a secure grip, even in wet conditions, while helping maintain control during powerful chopping and cutting tasks.

A durable nylon sheath is included for convenient carrying and storage. The El Machete .230X is a capable tool for bushcraft, outdoor adventures, and demanding trail-clearing work.
