Product information "NoDachi Warrior Series"
The Japanese swords of the Imperial Series have proven since their initial introduction almost two years ago, to be quite popular with many of our customers. Still, we are aware that there are some people who want a battle ready sword but hope to find one at a more affordable price.

Our new NoDachi addresses this problem directly. In our efforts to reduce the costliness of the blades, we have omitted the expensive mirror polishing that we used on the Imperial swords to create a new series of Japanese swords with a more practical finish.

The Warrior Series swords are very handsome in their own right and share the same steel, heat treatment, and sharpness as their more expensive Imperial counterparts. Like the Imperial swords, they have Samé covered, cord wrapped handles and quality fittings. The blade features 2 mekugi pegs in the handle and a bo hi on both sides of the blade. If you´re in the market for a strong, good looking, reasonably priced Japanese sword we know you´ll be happy to own one of these.

It is also quite durable, as shown when Dracule Mihawk’s Kokuto Yoru shattered two of Zoro’s swords, this is the only one that did not break at all. When used by Zoro, this sword is usually placed in his mouth for his Santoryu. When using his Ittoryu, Zoro usually uses this sword for it. Its toughness is further demonstrated by the fact that Zoro used it for his Itto-Ryu Iai: Shishi Sonson technique against Mr. 1, cutting through his steel body. • Blade Material: 1050 carbon steel (semi black coated mono-steel) • Edge: Fully sharpened • Treatment: Hand Forged, Through Hardened, Heat Treated & Tempered, Water Quenched • Overall Length w/ saya: 102 cm • Blade Length: 72.5 cm • Handle Length: 29 cm • Mekugi: 2 bamboo pegs • Saya: 30 inches glossy white lacquered finish • Tsuba / Fuchi / Kashira / Kojiri: Zinc alloy • Habaki / Seppa: Brass • Tsukaito: White synthetic silk • Samegawa: Synthetic ray skin panels • Weight: 1.24 kg This is the handforged folded blade version of the katana, which is sharp and ready for cutting tests. Tatami Omote - basic quality
This mat is made from rice straw and can be used for the traditional japanese cutting test tameshigiri. The mat has a dimension of 180*90 cm. This mat comes single packed in a foil together with a pad of silicon so that the mat wont catch any water during transport or storage. The end of the mat is tied together by some wire which you have to cut of before starting to cut with your blade. This tatami omote is the basic quality. After our experiences in cutting tatami omote during the last years we have decided to offer different qualities of tatami omote. By this we can make sure that each and every cutting customer will be satisfied. The beginner can buy and cut this mat without any problems. The advantages are obvious: - low price - pre rolled, safes time in preparation - soaks water very quickly - easy to cut We recommend this tatami omote to all customers doing tameshigiri for the first time who also want to save time and money but want to cut the traditional way. When you compare the 2 kinds of tatami omote, basic and high quality, then you will quickly realize that the basic quality tatami omote has only half the withstood the high quality has. Or in other words to say, the high quality is twice the hard to cut as the basic quality. The reason for this lies directly in the structure of the omote. The high quality has a much higher density than the basic quality. 1 Mat = 8 EURO If you want to order larger quantities than 200 mats please ask for our offer. Please note: The stand shown is NOT included.
