Product information "Replacement Stone"

This high alumina ceramic stone features a medium grit and is a replacement item fort the ones included in the Spyderco Tri-Angle Sharpmaker sharpening system (see article 80053).

Stones with a medium grit are used for aggressive sharpening. The stone is triangular for sharpening plain edges on the flat sides and serrated edges on the corners. A furrow running the length of each stone lets you sharpen pointed items like fishhooks, darts and awls.

Der Standard für den Vorschliff hochwertiger Klingen oder aber für den kompletten Schliff einer Machete/Axt etc. Weniger geeignet, um damit eine vollkommen stumpfe Schneide zu reparieren, dafür am besten Streifen gröberen Schleifpapiers (280-1000er Körnungen) mit Gummi eng um den Stein wickeln und damit vorschleifen.
