A southern madeiterranean helmet in the "Phrygian" style with its forward pointed peak on the top of the skull it also features an embossed steel faceplate. Copied from a wall painting in the church of Saints John and Paul, Spoleto. Made from two welded halves of 2mm (14 gauge) steel, it features a polished surface with an adjustable leather liner and chinstrap.
