New Norman Helmet
The Normans spread to England, Sicily and parts of Italy as mounted warriors known for their long mail hauberks, kite shield and conical helmets. This type of slightly curving forward peaked helmet is the second most recognized form. The conical shape allows blows to slide off. The face was provided some protection with the nasal piece which still allowed great vision. The helmet has a handsome aged finish and comes with an adjustable liner.

Medieval Practice One Hand Sword
This practice sword is hand crafted of solid, fully seasoned hardwood. With its contrasting wood guard and pommel, it is strong enough to meet the needs of today's swordsman. Each sword can take the abuse of sparring and reenacting, even edge-to-edge. Keep in mind, however, that wood can break along the grain. The sword design represents edge weapons common from the 12th to 15th centuries. Details: Total length: 38 1/4" Blade length: 31 3/4" Blade width: 2" Weight: 1 lb.
