Habe das Schwert letzte Woche erhalten und bin begeistert. Es hat die Nr.466 und ist meiner Meinung nach ohne Makel verarbeitet. Es ist an der Wand und ein absoluter Hingucker, und - nimmt man es in die Hand - hat man ein Gefühl der Verbundenheit mit dieser Waffe - kurzum eine hervorragende Arbeit die ihr Geld allemal wert ist. Werde mir Longclaw auch noch holen( sofern ich nicht zu spät komme wegen der 2500 Stück)

Mal wieder ein schönes Stück aus dem Hause "Valyrian Steel". Im direkten Vergleich mit den Vorgängern ICE (Eddard Stark) und LONGCLAW (John Snow) fällt dieses Schwert vom Gesamteindruck her in der Detalverarbeitung allerdings etwas ab (obwohl gleiche Preisklasse). Waren die beiliegenden Echtheitszertfikate bislang noch vom Meister GEORGE R.R. MARTIN persönlich signiert, so hat man sich das jetzt auch gespart (der hat wohl jetzt keine Zeit mehr für so was ...). Aber egal, wenn man ein Schwert aus der Serie besitzt, muß man die anderen auch haben!

Gladiator Maximus Sword

The prototype of this breathtaking sword comes from the epic blockbuster, "Gladiator," directed by Ridley Scott and awarded several Oscars. Actor Russel Crow wields this sword in his role as General Maximus Decimus Meridius.At 76 cm long, this sword of tempered carbon steel is very long for a weapon from this era. To this end, Maximus' sword cannot be classed with the gladius style widely in use at the time, but is rather an early version of the longer spatha. Whereas the grip design does indeed align with the Roman gladius with its lathe-turned imitation ivory and the half spherical cross guard.The latter as well as the pommel are made of beautifully grained wood with a red brown varnish and have typical Roman brass ornaments.
