ein wahnsins gefühl das selbe schwert wie william wallace in der han zu halten . super teil schönes schmuckstück für die sammlung.

Leider kann ich mich der Meinung meines Vorredners nicht anschließen weder die Parierstange noch die Wiledergriff und die Fehlschärfenumwicklung enstprechen dem im Film von Mel Gibson getragenem Schwert! (im Film kein wildleder) gut zu sehen bei der Schlacht von Stirling! hab den Film schon zich mal geschaut aber komme immer wieder zu dem Schluß dass dies dem Originalrequisit eben nicht im Detail nachempfunden ist. Trotzdem ist es ein Marto- Schwert von hervorragender Qualität ,und meiner Meinung nach stellen die kleinen Unterschiede zum Original eine Verbesserung der OPTIK dar ! deshalb volle Punktzahl!!

Ein Hammerteil! ;) Das Schwert liegt gut in der Hand und gleicht dem Filmoriginal bis ins Detail (Ja, ich war so verrückt und habe das Schwert vor mir auf dem Tisch liegen gehabt und nebenbei den Film gesehen um im Standbildmodus zu vergleichen)

Sword of Eowyn

Born in Edoras, EowynTM suffered the early death of her parents, and was forced to look after her ailing uncle, King Theoden,TM whose health was rapidly diminishing under the increasing control of SarumanTM and Grima Wormtongue. The beautiful and strong Eowyn was trained as a Shield-maiden, and was considered to have surpassed many Rohirrim men in terms of craft and skill. She carried a full-sized sword, which measured nearly three feet in length, from tip to hilt. The bronze guard and pommel were styled beautifully in honor of the mearas, to improve the grip of Eowyn´s small hand upon the sword. The handgrip was crafted with a raised middle section of three bronze rings. A wide fuller groove runs down 3/4 of the blade to reduce the weight, yet still retain critical blade strength. This type of fuller was common among royal swords of the Rohirrim. Against her uncles wishes, a disguised Eowyn rode with the Rohirrim to the Pelennor Fields along with the hobbit, Merry, in defense of their fallen king. Eowyn achieved true heroism as she succeeded in the slaying of the Witch KingTM and his fell steed, however, she also suffered a heinous injury during the crusade. After being healed by King Elessar, Eowyn finally abandoned her passion for battlefield grandeur and found true love in the arms of Faramir. Highlander - Connor MacLeod Katana

Connor MacLeod is a fictional character from the Highlander multiverse.The sword of Connor Mac Leod is a katana. Connor took the katana of Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, which he had presumably kept since his friend and mentor's death in 1547 (at the hands of the Kurgan). The sword was totally unique: A steel katana with a carved dragons head ivory handle and an ornate gold hilt. Even the solid red sheath was adorned with gold. Brenda Wyatt remarked the complexity of the blade's forging was centuries ahead of its time.It was made by the legendary sword smith, Masamune, as a wedding gift to Ramirez when he married his daughter Shikiko. Ramirez cherished the sword (just as he'd cherished his wife), remarking that the weapon was "one of a kind, like his daughter [Shikiko]." During The Gathering in 1985, Connor used the sword in battle, successfully defeating the Kurgan (in their final battle) and claiming the prize.
