The Horn of Gondor was an heirloom of the Stewards of Gondor, fashioned by Vorondil from a horn of the Kine of Araw, and passed to his descendants until its destruction at the death of Boromir. Tipped with silver and inscribed with ancient characters, it was said to be audible at any place in Gondor when winded.The wall mount and horn are made of resin, there is a leather strap included to hang the horn from the wall mount. The horn has holes at both ends so should be functional (like a trumpet, not just to blow into it). The horn is 45,72 long cm from end to end and the wall plaque is 19 cm high. This authentically detailed replica is a reproduction of the actual filming prop built by Weta Workshop and used in “The Lord Of The Rings” films presented by New Line Cinema. The helm is crafted of reinforced polyresin and genuine leather, with precisely-molded details and coloring. It is presented with a polystone and wood display, sculpted in the shape of Rohirrim neck and shoulder armor. He later agreed to join the Fellowship on its quest to destroy "The One Ring.TM" In a single moment of weakness, Boromir attempted to take the Ring from Frodo,TM which would in turn lead to his demise as he single-handedly defended hobbits, Merry and Pippin, from the hands of Saruman´sTM Uruk-haiTM before falling under a rain of arrows. Boromir´s sword was single-handed, big, broad and powerful - a fit complimentary to its owner. To use it required someone with great strength, which this skilled warrior abundantly possessed. The blade´s flattened diamond shape and equally wide fuller reduced weight, yet retained strength in the end of the blade by stopping just short of the tip. It was equally effective for slashing against lightly armored opponents and for thrusting into more heavily protected enemies. The guard, similar to that of his father´s sword, showed a warrior´s flourish in that it was formed from a square-edged piece of steel that had been twisted before being curved into a crescent. The handgrip was wide like the blade, and the pommel was an elegant and simple piece of steel that added weight to balance the blade.
