For an extra gently and smooth action the blade is mounted with washers made of berrylium bronze and features a checkered thumb stud for a safe handling. The handle is made of troyeng wood, a contrasty grained ebony.
The frame made of Z40C13 steel features a lanyard hole. The blade locks via liner lock.
