Often called a chapel-de-fer, this type of helmet saw use during the latter portion of the 15th century. This helmet has a small ridge and and a broad rim which was meant to turn away arrows coming from above. Made from two welded halves of 2mm (14 guage) steel, it features a polished surface with an adjustable leather liner and chinstrap.
