This Horned Viking Helmet is crafted from riveted steel plates and prominently fitted with a set of horns. The articulated cheekplates are fitted to leather hinges and they are lined with suede leather for comfort. Lining cap provides extra padding.

The two helmet ‘’eyebrows’’ are riveted brass and provide extra defense to the brow. Cheek and neck guards ensure the wearer receives protection from every side. The horns are screwed directly into the helmet.

Features an antiqued steel finish with an adjustable liner.

Viking Spectical helmet, Size M

Similar in construction to the spangenhelmet, the spectical style of helmet was widely used by Vikings during the 9th and 10th centuries. Made out of two halves of 2mm (14 gauge) steel, then welded and polished with adjustable leather liner and a chin strap. The skull is reinforced with a 2mm (14 gauge) crossband riveted on to it. Leather Vendel Viking Helmet

This beautiful leather helmet is a copy of the Viking Gjermundbu type (named for a similar one found in a burial mound of a great warrior found on the Gjermundbu farm in Norway) worn during the Dark Ages. Its origin dates back to the Vendel Era, used in the year 875 during the Viking Age.Normally made of riveted iron, our lighter weight version is made of dark brown, high-grade leather which has been hand-formed and riveted in the same manner as it’s ancestor.This unlined helmet is sized to fit almost every head and will accept whatever type of lining you chose to place within it.
