Product information "The Valsgrade 5 Helmet - Size M"

Made after the Valsgarde farm where it was excavated during the early part of the 20th century, this helmet dates to about the 8th century during the Vendel Age. Our replica is decorated with historically correct brass fittings. It is constructed of 1.6mm (16 gauge) steel with leather inserts and chin straps.

Tja...da liegt er vor mir - und irgendwie kann ich es nicht fassen.Die Replica aus dem 7 Jhd n. Chr, gefunden in Valsgrade/Schweden.Er zählt zu dem Sutton Hoo Helm als einer der schönsten Funde Meisterlicher Handwerkskunst des Mittelalters.Vollmessing Zierrat.2mm starken Rüstungsstahl,etwas bläulich glänzend.3400 gr schwer...Helles Lederinlay mit Schnalle.Die Gesichtsmaske bedeckt fast das ganze Anlitz.Klasse.Die Nackenlammelen voll Beweglich und auch 2mm stark.Kampftauglich!!!! Der Helm ist trotz des Gewichts sehr gut zu tragen.Wenn man es nicht genau wüsste könnte man meinen er wäre direkt aus dem Museum gekommen.Der Preis:Unschlagbar.... Helme dieser Art und der hervorragenden Verarbeitung kosten normalerweise weit das doppelte!!Ein ganz grosses Lob an die Herstellerfirma GDFB (GETDressedForBattle) Nicht nur für Wikinger-Reenactoren geeignet,auch für Helmsammler sehr zu Empfehlen. Fazit:Volle Punktzahl für Aussehen-Verarbeitung-Preis.Mit Wartezeiten muss man Rechnen aber das wird mit einem sehr schönen interessanten Helm belohnt ;-) Danke an Herrn Schmiedt.
