A few years ago, Cold Steel® launched a new line of high-quality Japanese swords under the name Emperor series. The customer response was extremely positive, but the thought arose that there are also lovers of Asian naked weapons who want to buy a combat-ready sword at a cheaper price.The introduction of the Warrior series was the logical answer to this demand. Like the Emperor swords, the models in the Warrior collection are made of 1060 high-performance steel. The hardening and sharpness of the blades are also identical. In order to reduce the production costs, the elaborate high-gloss polishing was dispensed with and a more appropriate finish was chosen. The Warrior collection is the perfect choice to train and perform cut tests (Tameshigiri) without damaging the blade.
