Man at Arms Collection: Classic Leaf Shape Spear
A true classic, the leaf shaped spear is found throughout history and across the globe. It was used for hunting and warfare for hundreds of years by many nations - and with good reason, it worked! The long socket imports a great deal of strength, reinforcing the central ridge of the head, while the extra wide double cutting edges and stout point puncture well and inflict a huge wound channel. With a multitude of battlefield and hunting applications, the leaf shaped spear was not only lightweight and maneuverable, but also suitable for throwing, thrusting and slashing. The modern interpretation of the leaf shaped spear features a fully sharpened carbon steel blade with a hard spring temper and a premium American ash shaft. Details: Overall Length: approx. 206 cm Head Height: approx. 43.2 cm Handle Length: approx. 162.6 cm Head Material: 1055 Carbon Handle Material: Ash Wood Weight (All): approx. 1414.7 g Weight (Head): approx. 552.8 g This is an item from the Cold Steel program in 2014.

The Accolade Sword of the Knights Templar
Non Nobis, Domine, Non Nobis, Sed Nomini Tuo Da Gloriam These iconic words engraved on the blade define this historic sword replica. The creed of the Knights Templar - Nothing for us, Lord, nothing for us but for the glory of thy name - marked their illustrious and sometimes infamous 200 year military influence. This magnificent sword named The Accolade would have been a sword worthy of the Grand Master to knight a loyal member into this holy order. The best metalsmiths from Windlass Steelcrafts have spent hours on each blade, hand forging the high carbon steel for optimal balance, quickness and durability. The pommel features a highly detailed Templar coin on each side with Latin inscription and the symbols that have grown synonomous with the Templar Order, while the grip is hand-wrapped with a rich genuine red leather with a wire over-wrap.
