Miamoto Musashi lived from 1584 to 1645 and went down in Japanese history as one of the most impressive samurai. He is referred to as the best Japanese swordsman. He was artist and artisan at the same time. The Musashi Ichi Tanto has a handforged blade made of carbon steel with a fine hamon and has been tempered traditionally. John Lee Dragon Wakizashi

The tsuba of this remarkable sword sculpts a sword surrounding dragon. The other decorations also show the mystical creature. The sword blade in Shinogi-Zukuri style has a groove (Bo-Hi), and is hand forged from 1045 carbon steel. The blade is sharpened with integrated Hamon line for a very authentic look. The handle wrapping is made of black cotton in a classic Hineri Maki style. Black, high gloss lacquered sheath (Kuroro style) made of wood. Due to the long tang, which is fixed in the handle with two bamboo pins (Mekugi), the sword is fully demountable. There is no plastic used, only high-quality, authentic materials are used.
