Ron Chen was born in Taiwan in 1981. His father, Paul Chen, had an early interest in swords and custom knife making. Ron benefitted greatly from his father’s expertise, and from an early age took a great interest in the Japanese sword. A talented artist in his own right, upon graduating University, Ron decided to apprentice as a sword smith. He worked for several years at his father’s factory, learning modern and traditional forging skills, and honing his craft.
The popular brand Hanwei belongs to Ron's father Paul Chen. We also have lots of Katana of Hanwei in our shop.
The Orborozuki Katanas were designed by Paul Chen. There are three different versions of the Orborozuki sword series:
Orborozuki - New Moon
Orborozuki - Half Moon
Orborozuki - Full Moon
All three swords are exclusively in our shop.
The blades are forged with maraging steel, which has undergone a special heat treatment. Paul Chen chose the Moon concept as the theme of this sword series because he believes it fits in perfectly with the Japanese spirit of Bushido, which promotes modesty and accuracy.
The Orborozuki Katanas are part of the 2019 edition consisting of 100 strictly limited Katanas from the Sakaeforge by Ron Chen. The swords are delivered with a wooden box and a cleaning kit. Including certificate.

Bestellt - Lieferzeit war dann etwas länger als angegeben - aber das war mir egal. Die Anlieferung (Verpackung/Produkt etc. ) war absolut top! Auch auf Rückfragen etc. wurde sehr serviceorientiert reagiert. Gerne immer wieder!
