This early type of dirk evolved from the Kidney Dagger and was the first step toward the ornate Scottish Dirk we know today. The grip is solid hardwood and the parts are steel. The long high carbon steel blade is flexible and well tempered. This is a must-have item for the highlander. A scabbard is included.

einziges Manko: die Gürtelschlaufe ist zu klein für einen richtigen schottischen Gürtel - ansonsten kommt genau das, was der Name sagt und der Kunde bestellt hat: die Mutter aller Dirks - schlicht, funktional und beeindruckend.

Die beste "Stangenware" bisher. Die Kampftechniken mit dem Dirk, wie sie die Cateran Society durchführt, lassen sich optimila umsetzen. Die Griffteile und scheide sind sehr schlicht gestaltet, aber der Griff liegt gut in der Hand. Die Klinge ist sehr lang und schlank, wie viele Orginale, der nachträgliche Schliff ist super. Eine günstige und qualitativ sehr gute Alternative.
