The solid flat construction with rubberized handle scales mounted with four screws makes this knife even sturdier and more durable than required. The Chainsaw Backup is a serious forestry tool for delimbing and young growth maintenance. The length and thickness of the blade are- perfectly balanced and the handle offers an ergonomic design so you can work without getting tired. The handle heel does double duty as a lanyard hole. The blade is made from reliably shock-resistant stainless 440A, which also ensures great edge retention. A rugged nylon sheath with rot-proof lining and double snaps protect the machete and its wearer.
