This is the handforged and folded version of Sephiroth’s sword “Masamune” from the game series “Final Fantasy”.

Final Fantasy VII is a console role playing game that was developed by Square Enix and released in the year 1997. It is the seventh installment of the Final Fantasy series which was produced for PlayStation and Microsoft Windows. Final Fantasy VII was the first game in the series to use 3D computer graphics as well as rendered characters against pre-rendered backgrounds.

Set on the fantasy planet of Gaia, at first the player follows a group of resistance fighters, called Avalanche, in their struggle against the mega-corporation Shinra, which is draining the planet of its life force for the purpose of power generation. In the course of the story the conflicts escalate and the entire world is under the threat of extinction. Sephiroth is the result of an experiment in which an unborn child was injected with cells from an alien organism called Jenova. He possess superhuman strength and attempts to bring about the destruction of the world when he finds out about his true origin. He believes Jenova is his mother, however he was born to Dr. Lucretia Crescent. Sephiroth wields an approximately 2 meter long Ōdachi called Masamune.

Tolles Schwert zu einem unglaublichen Preis

Nach zwei Monaten Wartezeit war es heute endlich so weit und ich konnte das Schwert vom Paketzentrum abholen. Sehr sicher und doppelt verpackt kam das Schwert bei mir an. Leider waren auf der Klinge noch ein paar Rückstände von etwas Kleber, wahrscheinlich vom Transport. Die Klinge fühlt sich sehr hart an und es ist kein Problem sich damit die Haare vom Arm zu rasieren. Auch lassen sich auf dem Stahl keine Unregelmäßigkeiten mit dem Auge erkennen. Die Klinge hat einen schönen Schliff und war auch bereits geölt. Ein wunderbares Stück in meiner Sammlung.
