This sword is both of high quality and and a reasonable price for a handforged ninjato. Beside beginners starting into this class of swords it is also highly interesting for collectors broading their collection or looking for a payable real sword.

Blade: Carbon steel hand-forged with bo-hi (groove). The hardness of the Mune and of the Ha (blade edge) is 55° HRC Rockwell. The blade of this Ninjato is sharp ! Dimensions:

Aufgrund der Länge (100cm) schon eher ein Schwert für einen sehr großen Ninja ;), die meisten N-Ts liegen ja eher bei 85cm. Aber: ich liebe es! Ich hätte nie gedacht, dass es bei dem Preis ein so schönes und solides Stück ist. Auch die Details sind toll gearbeitet, die Tsuka-maki (Griffwicklung) sitzt, es hat Mekugi und Menuki (Griffverzierung und Stifte), und die Tsuba (Stichblatt) hat ein tolles Drachenmotiv! Die Saya (Scheide) hätte im Innern etwas besser gefertigt werden können und musste erstmal ordentlich ausgeblasen werden, war voller Späne. Aber das tut diesem tollen Stück wirklich keinen Abbruch. Ist für mich das Schnäppchen schlechthin in meiner Sammlung, schwarzer Damast ist sowas von geil!

hallo ich finde es ist für diesen preis ein richtig gutes Schwert, hat eine wunderschöne Maserung. Ich finde es hätte ein bisschen schärfer sein können und die Griffwicklung könnte echt besser sein, denn sie verrutscht ziemlich schnell. Aber alles in allem kann ich es nur empfehlen.

wunderschönes schwert, damaststruktur könnte man als überwältigend bezeichnen, einziges minus ist die griffwicklung, welche nicht so hochwertig / steif ist wie bei preisaufwendigeren katanas.

Wado-Ichi-Monji by Roronoa Zoro katana - handforged

Geisha’s Blade hand forged and fully sharpened version of the Wado Ichimonji Katana, which is one of the swords of Roronoa Zoro, a character from the popular anime/manga: One Piece. This is a sword of great personal importance to Roronoa Zoro, and it was once Kuina’s and her family’s sword. It is one of the twenty one O Wazamono grade swords (One Piece world).
