Tolkien Lore:
Sauron was a gifted Maia and originally a student of Aulë. Driven by a desire to arrange all things according to his will, he became (Melkor) Morgoth's most trusted lieutenant and was considered his greatest servant in the Wars of Beleriand. In the Second Age, in the disguise of the beautiful Annatar, he deceived the Elves of Eregion into forging the Rings of Power, while secretly forging the One Ring in Mount Doom and becoming the "Lord of the Rings". Sauron allowed himself to be captured by the Númenóreans, where his wickedness led to the downfall of Númenor. His spirit escaped and regained power in Mordor, while the kingdoms of Arnor and Gondor were established. The Elves and the Dúnedain formed the Last Alliance and marched against Sauron in 3441 CE. The siege lasted seven years and ended with Sauron leaving his fortress to break the siege himself, pushing the Alliance back to the slopes of Orodruin. There, Sauron killed the Alliance leaders, Gil-galad and Elendil, in single combat, but was himself defeated when Isildur cut the Ring from Sauron's finger. Sauron's body died and his spirit fled. Without the power of the One Ring, Sauron could not take form in Middle-earth for a thousand years.

Adaptation notes:
In Peter Jackson's film adaptation of The Lord of the Rings, Sauron is first seen in the prologue to the trilogy. He is depicted as a tall, but not gigantic, armored warlord wielding a huge mace (a mix of his vague description in Tolkien and the more detailed appearance of Morgoth as described in The Silmarillion). The original helmet was designed by Weta Workshop and worn by actor Sala Baker. In the battle cutscene, Sauron is shown cutting down numerous Elves and Men with his mace before killing Gil-galad (off camera) and Elendil, until he is finally defeated by Isildur, who cuts off the Ring with his father's broken sword. This causes Sauron's body to explode, creating a shockwave as the original helmet falls to the ashy ground, smoking with the corruption of his hatred.

Folded Blade Sword With Scabbard
Since quite a long time there were only decorative swords on the market matching the Blade theme. But now there is the first real razor sharp handforged and folded Blade sword for sale ! Blade was born half-vampire, when his mother was fatally bitten by the powerful vampire, Deacon Frost. This has given him superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes and extraordinary senses. However, these abilities come with one major weakness, his thirst for blood. Blade also has a healing factor, but this does not retard his aging. Unlike the rest of the vampire community, he can walk in sunlight, though it causes some discomfort and he must wear sunglasses. Because of this rare ability, he has become know as the Daywalker. He is a master of martial arts and is aided in his quest by his long-time friend, Whistler. This companion-in-arms has created for Blade an arsenal of weaponry ranging from his acid-etched titanium sword and glaive, to a MAC-10 automatic pistol. Blade can speak Czech, Russian and of course, the Vampire language. Blade remains committed to his mission, to rid the world of all vampires. Details: Total length: approx. 85.5 cm Blade length: approx. 66 cm Handle length: approx. 16 cm Blade width: approx. 3.3 cm near the handle Blade thickness: approx. 5.3 mm near the handle and approx. 2.7 mm near the tip Weight: approx. 880 g without sword sheath and 1.5 kg with sword sheath This sword is handforged and has a sharp blade.

The Lord of the Rings - High Elven War Helm - Limited Edition
In the Second Age of Middle-earth, the Dark Lord Sauron stretched his shadow across the land, corrupting and enslaving the people in a gloom of despair and fear. Gil-galad, the King of the Ñoldorin Elves, joined with Elendil, King of Gondor, to forge The Last Alliance of Elves and Men in order to defeat the evil Sauron and his legion of orcs. The Ñoldorin Elves were noble, elegant and magical beings that lived in harmony with the natural world and its forces. The high sophistication of the Elven race carried over into the design of their armor and weapons. Their war helms had the appearance of being beaten out of a single sheet of a bronze-like alloy, with decorative raised golden vines adorning the surface. Embossed into the nose guards were the Elvish runes signifying that these soldiers were under the command of Gil-galad, the last King of the Ñoldorin High Elves. This authentically detailed replica is a reproduction of the actual filming prop used in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring™? presented by New Line Cinema. The helm is crafted of reinforced polyresin, with precisely-molded details and coloring. Each helmet is presented with a wood display stand and a brass medallion.
