Product information "Bokken"

Bokken ("wooden sword") is the Japanese term in kenjutsu for a katana shaped out of wood. Used to train samurai in feudal Japan, it is now used as a training weapon in various Japanese sword arts. Some other martial arts (and all pedants) call it a bokuto ("wooden sword").

A suburito is a bokken designed for suburi. Suburi, literally "bare cutting", are solo cutting exercises. Suburito are thicker and heavier than normal bokken so that you have to develop either good technique, strong muscles or both to wield one. Their weight does however tend to make them poorly balanced, consequently they are not used for paired practise.

Miyamoto Musashi was famed for his use of the bokken in actual combat.

Sehr stabil und super verarbeitet. Die Tsuba ist recht scharfkantig, aber man muss sie ja nicht anbringen und wenn doch, kann man sie etwas überarbeiten. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen

Ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswertes Bokken aus Holz. Diese "normale" Holzfarbe wie man sie in Deutschland gewöhnt ist, ist sehr ästhetisch. Hält einige harte Schläge aus, liegt gut in der Hand, die Verarbeitung ist auch in Ordnung. Für Einsteiger wunderbar geeignet, und bei dem Preis macht man eh nichts falsch.

Gutes Boken zum Üben voll in Ordnung! Verarbeitung OK und Zubehör (Tsuba) abnehmbar.

Sehr gutes Boken absolut weiter zu empfehlen, einzige Manko war das das Tsuba aus einer art Material (Plastik??) bestand das nicht zu identifizieren war. Macht der Sache aber keinen Schaden trotzdem ist der Hauptteil des Schwertes ABSOLUT Genial verarbeitet vielleicht wiederhole ich mich aber es ist absolut weiter zu empfehlen deshalb auch 5 Punkte.

Thor Hammer

This is the modern version of the hammer “Mjölnir” of the Norse god “Thor” known from several myths and movies. In Norse mythology Thor or Donar is the God of Clouds, Thunder and Fertility and like all other Aesir he died during the Ragnarök. Only Odin stood above him and more feared.
