Product information "M48 Tactical Hawk"
This M48 Hawk is the ultimate tactical weapon. It is lightweight to be carried all day without added muscle fatigue and the blade of the M48 Hawk offers a wide, upswept axe blade for mammoth chopping, slashing and cutting potential. The secondary edge on the back side of the head is specially sharpened on both edges for a cutting and hooking attack. When combined, the spike and axe head make for an efficient personal defense and breaching tool. The blade is securely attached to the indestructible 30% nylon reinforced handle with three separate bolts. It comes complete with a nylon snapbutton sheath.

eine richtig tolle Axt!! Sie liegt gut in der Hand und ist schön scharf....

Dieser Tomahawk ist ein absolutes Monster! Er ist leicht, bietet aber aufgrund des massiven Axtkopfes genug Schlagkraft um enormen Schaden anzurichten. Die Axtschneide ist scharf und läuft an den Enden extrem spitz zu. Der Dorn ist an den Seiten zwar nicht geschärft, dafür jedoch lang und verdammt spitz. Schon der erste Eindruck dieser Waffe lässt einen vor Erfurcht erstarren. Die Scheide macht einen stabilen Eindruck, obwohl die Gürtellasche ziemlich knapp bemessen ist. Zum Wurfverhalten kann ich leider nichts schreiben, da ich den Tomahawk noch nicht geworfen habe. Auf jeden Fall bekommt der Spruch "Das Kriegsbeil ausgraben" mit diesem Tomahawk eine völlig neue Bedeutung!

Die M48-Serie bietet ein hervorragendes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, und das Hawk ist mMn das Prunkstück. Die Stiellänge ist gut gewählt, länger als die SOG-Hawks und kürzer als die von Cold Steel, sozusagen die goldene Mitte. Das Axtblatt ähnelt einer klassischen Bartaxt und hat somit eine lange Schneidlänge, und der Spike ist ein robustes Biest. Der Stiel ist nahezu unverwüstlich, und die Verbindung zum Axtblatt äußerst solide. Sehr gefährlich, und obendrein ein wirklich cooles Teil!

Meiner Meinung nach ein schön scharfes Tomahawk das einen sehr soliden Eindruck macht und sehr gut in der Hand liegt (für die Leute die es noch rutschfester brauchen, einfach ein entsprechendes Tape verwenden), die Spitze am Bart finde ich toll, was für ein böses Teil wenn man nicht aufpassen sollte, der Dorn am Nacken eignet sich gut um kleine Holzklötze zu spalten. Das Gewicht ist ausreichend gut zu handlen, die Tomahawk Scheide stabil genug, nur näht man sich entweder am besten noch eine Schlaufe dran oder hat was ähnliches am Gürtel um das Hawk noch besser tragen zu können. Vom Preis-Leistungsverhältniss eigentlich unschlagbar!

Der M48 Tactical Hawk hält was er verspricht! Robust und nahezu unverwüstlich ist er für Survival- und SV-Anwendungen uneingeschränkt verwendbar. Die Klinge ist äusserst scharf, der Sporn durchdringend. Klare Kaufempfehlung. Der einzige störende Faktor ist die Nylonscheide. Hier wäre eine Haltevorrichtung aus Kydex empfehlenswerter. Ansonsten ein Super-Produkt.
