Wakizashi - 60cm

Wakizashi – Japanese Short Sword for Samurai and Ninja Characters

The Epic Armoury Wakizashi is a high-quality LARP short sword inspired by traditional Japanese sword design. Whether carried by an honorable samurai or a stealthy ninja, this carefully detailed weapon is an excellent addition to Asian-inspired characters, costumes and fantasy role-playing outfits.

The 40 cm straight, single-edged blade is hand-painted to resemble real metal. A small oval crossguard protects the 15 cm handle, which is wrapped in durable leather in a menuki-style pattern. The combination of a clean blade profile and traditional handle detailing gives the Wakizashi its distinctive Japanese appearance.

The blade is made from durable closed-cell foam surrounding a solid fiberglass core and finished with a strong latex coating. This makes the Wakizashi a fitting accessory for LARP, fantasy role-playing and Japanese-inspired character portrayals.
