Scramasax - 60 cm

The Epic Armoury Scramasax is a distinctive Celtic short sword featuring a straight, single-edged blade. Its broad blade, short false edge and long fuller give it a rugged, authentic appearance that suits a wide range of historical and fantasy LARP characters. As a serious-looking sidearm, it makes a versatile addition to many costume and equipment setups.

The 40 cm blade features a short false edge and a fuller measuring approximately 30 cm. A compact crossguard decorated with brass rings is paired with a matching pommel, adding character to the design. The 13 cm handle is wrapped in tanned leather and shaped with an oval profile for a comfortable, secure grip.

Made from durable closed-cell foam around a solid fiberglass core and finished with a tough latex coating, the Scramasax is designed for LARP use. It works particularly well as a sidearm alongside a one-handed wood axe or a Celtic longknife.
