Scout Sword - 75 cm

The Stronghold Scout Sword by Epic Armoury is a medium-sized LARP sword inspired by Nordic weaponry. Its double-edged blade, distinctive central ridge and historically inspired fittings make it an excellent choice for scouts, Vikings and other Nordic fantasy characters. Combining a rugged appearance with detailed craftsmanship, it is a versatile addition to any LARP kit.

The 58 cm blade is double-edged and features a pronounced central ridge. Its most distinctive details are the curved crossguard and the so-called cocked-hat pommel, both inspired by features found on historical Viking swords. These fittings are hand-painted to resemble aged iron and bronze. The ergonomically shaped 10 cm grip has a textured finish designed to look like woven leather.

The Scout Sword belongs to Epic Armoury’s Stronghold range. Its blade is made from the specialized Epic Foam, which the manufacturer describes as having a weight comparable to latex while requiring less regular maintenance. The specially constructed blade tip is designed for LARP use. This combination gives the sword a Nordic aesthetic alongside a durable, low-maintenance construction.
