Katana - Hybrid - 85cm

The Katana – Hybrid by Epic Armoury is a finely detailed LARP sword designed for both samurai and ninja characters. Its hand-painted, single-edged blade features a realistic metal-like finish, complemented by a small oval crossguard. The design combines the traditional look of a Japanese sword with the durability of a modern padded LARP weapon.

The blade is made from closed-cell foam around a solid fiberglass core and finished with a durable latex coating. This gives it a smooth surface and convincing metallic appearance. The handle is cast from polyurethane foam and detailed to resemble a traditional fabric-wrapped grip with menuki-style accents. This material allows for intricate detailing while keeping maintenance simple.

The Hybrid Katana is a great choice for LARP combat, Japanese-inspired fantasy characters and elaborate costumes. For a more authentic look, it can be paired with a matching wakizashi as a companion sword.
