Jade Dao - 85cm

The Jade Dao by Epic Armoury is a finely detailed hybrid LARP sword inspired by the traditional Chinese dao, a curved sword sometimes referred to as the “General of Weapons.” Its gently curved, single-edged blade combines the aesthetics of East Asian martial traditions with a striking fantasy design.

The blade is designed for balanced handling and features a simulated secondary edge that accentuates the shape of the tip. The intricately detailed polyurethane handle is sculpted and painted to resemble carved jade with gold-colored embellishments. A ring-shaped pommel with a steel-colored finish completes the elaborate design. An integrated counterweight system helps provide balanced handling and a comfortable feel in the hand.

The blade is made from closed-cell foam around a solid fiberglass core and finished with a durable latex coating. In addition to its Asian-inspired appearance, the Jade Dao fits naturally into alternative fantasy settings. Available in two overall lengths, it is an excellent choice for LARP, cosplay and distinctive character concepts.
