Battleworn Viking Sword – Distressed Viking LARP Sword

The Battleworn Viking Sword by Epic Armoury is a strikingly detailed weapon that evokes status, heritage, and the marks of countless battles. Inspired by legendary swords such as “Skraep,” which was reportedly unearthed in a rusty condition in a tale involving King Vermund’s son and the defense of Denmark against the Saxons, this sword looks old and worn at first glance. Its distressed appearance is intentional and does not indicate poor condition.

The sword features an intricately decorated crossguard with a serpent-like motif. The handle and pommel are carefully sculpted, with leather wrapped around the handle. Special paintwork and sculpted details recreate rust stains, nicks, and scratches, giving the sword the convincing appearance of a weapon with a long history.

The Battleworn Viking Sword is available in two lengths: 85 cm and 100 cm. Its blade features a fuller designed to reduce weight while maintaining structural stability. The blade is made from closed-cell foam around a fiberglass core and finished with a durable latex coating. The detailed handle is cast from polyurethane foam for a low-maintenance finish. This sword is an excellent choice for Viking warriors, berserkers, and rugged fantasy characters in LARP.
