Esee Model 5 Survival, Escape, Evasion Knife. Approx. 27.6 cm overall length with an approx. 13.3 cm long black textured powder coated 1095 carbon steel blade. Full tang construction with bright orange G-10 handles featuring a lanyard hole and a divot that can be used as the socket for the fire bow drill method.

A black molded MOLLE compatible Kydex® sheath with adjustable sheath tensioner and lanyard with cord lock is within the scope of supply. Also included is a survival card and clip plate with screws, rubber washers and barrel nuts. Bulk packed.

The newly-developed DC3 and DC4 whetstones consist of a fine diamond stone (25 micron) and a very special ceramic stone, made of synthetic sapphires. The advantage of these materials, although they get worn, will still keep their flat shape this is important when you sharpen your knife. And, since these materials are the hardest we know of, they will sharpen any steel, even these extremely hard powder steels. You don’t need any lubrication for these stone but now and then you should consider cleaning them with warm water and liquid soap.
