Knifemaker extraordinaire Gil Hibben continues to design exceptional knives made for hard every day use and the Hibben Sub-Hilt Fighter Knife is up for anything you throw at it! It has a razor-sharp, 8 1/2” mirror-polished, 5Cr15Mov stainless steel blade, which extends from a stainless steel guard. The bloodwood handle scales are attached to the full tang with nickel silver pins and the handle features a stainless steel sub-hilt. The 14 1/8” overall knife can be securely carried in its premium leather belt sheath and a lanyard hole offers another carry option.

Our interpretation was inspired by a wooden Suburito in Akido 5th Dan, Andrew Demko’s private collection. Our President, Lynn C. Thompson trained with it for several months, and resolved to create one for Cold Steel. Hibben Silver Shadow Knife

This superb knife is the Silver Shadow. The renowned knife designer Gil Hibben custom crafted this knife especially for United Cutlery in 1990 as the first in his annual Fantasy Series offerings. The knife features a mirror polished 420 stainless steel blade. The handle has been wrapped with silver wire and provides a sure grip. Gil Hibben´s personal stamp has been etched on the blade. This knife was designed by master knife maker Gil Hibben, an avid hunter and fisherman. His firsthand experience as an Alaskan hunting guide contributed to the design of this custom knife.
