Product information "Hidden Release Trapper Appaloosa Bone"
The legacy of a classic; timelessly traditional - traditionally timeless and interpreted in a contemporary way by Boker Plus. The original Trapper owes its name to the trappers who roamed the forests of North America for hunting. The design of the knife dates back to the 19th century and is characterized by its slim lines and the characteristic upper and lower bolsters on the handle. Instead of a nail nick and a slipjoint, the Boker Plus Hidden Release Trapper as an automatic knife utilizes its matt stainless steel bolster to open and release the satin-finished D2 blade by simply sliding it upwards via the discreetly integrated bolster lock. Hand-flattering handle scales made of Appaloosa bone with their grain and brown iridescent colouring create an unmistakable western look and make each knife an absolutely unique piece. The clear lines are harmoniously rounded off by a tip-up clip (r), which allows the knife to be carried deep-carry. This is how modern classic works! Supplied with a high-quality nylon case.

Notice

Since October 31, 2024, there has been a general ban on handling and possessing switchblades of all kinds in Germany. From now on, these are prohibited items, the possession of which is punishable by law. According to Annex 2 to the Weapons Act, Section 1, Number 1.4.1, the possession of certain switchblades is only permitted to persons who have a legitimate interest that requires one-handed use (e.g. due to a missing arm or a missing or dysfunctional hand), or who use them in connection with their profession (e.g. hunting, crafts) or sport (e.g. sailing or mountaineering). The same applies to commercial dealers or manufacturers of such knives. They are therefore only sold to authorized persons. Please check before ordering whether you have such a legitimate interest.

If you are ordering from outside of Germany keep in mind that this does not apply for you. You can freely buy this item with no worries.
